He's got a certain image to uphold, and that's about all that holds him back from grinning like a moron when the first butterflies come back to Radiant Garden.
Nero; customer service.
Just because telling a customer to fuck off was a bad thing to do didn't mean he had to regret doing it.
Nero/Kyrie; children
His first mistake was assuming his stress levels would go down after the baby was born; yet, one cooing giggle from his daughter made every sleepless night worth it.

Pick and choose, mon capitan!
Part 1 of possibly many because Frederick/Cordelia inspires me!!!
Chrom inspires loyalty in Frederick the way nothing else ever has, but when she's sobbing into the chutney, he's admittedly a bit divided.
the long and wooing road
1. She's definitely less jealous of Sumia after she finds out that Chrom doesn't give foot rubs.
2. When she cries out Chrom's name, he keeps telling her he doesn't mind, that he understands--but it sours their night quickly.
3. His unit returns in shambles from the ambush, but when she practically shoves Chrom aside to get to him, it's a personal victory all the same.
4. They take a break from being in their respective wedding parties to dance; as he holds her he thinks she might cry, but all she does is sigh momentously and lay her head on his shoulder: "I hope ours is less stuffy."
5. It's frustrating to speak to the grown Severa and think that, years after the fact, she still hasn't gotten over a schoolgirl crush, and that it hurts her family; but she finds a hand-written love note on her pillow and the warmth that curls her toes tells her she won't let her daughter down twice.
Chrom's questionable recruitment posters
He finds the last of them stashed under her cot (with little hearts drawn on them) and tries not to feel achingly disappointed.
Part 2!
dancing
"I believe this one may be beyond even my considerable talents to teach," Virion declares, while Lissa laughs and laughs.
wearing the pot among fine society
He'd never feel ashamed of his mother's lucky pot, the one that saved his life so many times; especially not with her standing staunchly by his side.
Lon'qu/Lissa;
battle scars
He's trembling while she traces them, all along his chest and back, mapping out the paths of his bravery.
role reversal
His Killing Edge lies shattered, the wyvern is upon him, great maw gaping--until her axe smashes into its jaw, sending it and its rider to the ground.
first kiss
He brings her all the way into the northern reaches of west-Ferox, because she wanted to see the world; and while the aurora is magnificent, it's his kiss that leaves her breathless.
Stahl/Sully;
haircuts
"You should grow it out so that you can wear it up for the wedding!" Sumia enthuses, but Stahl helpfully points out that long hair would get caught in Sully's armor.
on dealing with a pregnant Sully
On odd-numbered days, he sleeps in the stable: it's safer there.
PART 3
Cravats on wyverns
The only thing that saved him from being served as dinner was that Minerva honestly seemed to like her little 'outfit'.
Frederick/Miriel
Hormones, as demonstrated by Chrom
"Hormonal imbalance can have nefarious effects upon the body," Miriel told him, and suddenly the subtle courtship between his charge and their new tactician bothered Frederick so much more.
Experiment
"I had hypothesized it would be rendered both water- and rust-proof," Miriel said by way of apology, as Frederick stared at the smouldering remains of his armour.
Physical contact
She was cold by nature, but he'd taught her to act on her instincts...and she was a very quick study.
No-Touch Duo
Tickling
When she really wanted him to vacate fast, she pulled out the long-handled feather duster.
Sleeping habits
A month after their marriage they were still in seperate bedchambers; six months after, separate beds; it wasn't until a year had passed that they pushed them together and it only got easier from there.
Defiance
Bringing the Emperor's rappigs home is where she draws the line.
