- I have a lot of problem focusing on anything lately. Brain flitters and flutters and doesn't want to stay in place. It's annoying. Keeping focus requires having something familiar going on - like a TV series I've seen before, a story I've ready before - something that centers me. Still annoying.
- Signed up for the Lucian exchange. My beta/partner-in-various-things is making witty comments about laundry due to my other Narnia story this year. Cough.
- I read a comment a while ago about an author being unsure anyone would like to read their story 'cos it was so long. It was a little over a 100k words. I blinked. That's barely long at all! Then I realized: most people don't think that anything under 10k words is prolly too short to bother with. It takes QUITE a summary to make me read anything shorter than that. Just not worth the effort of finding brain and attention for it.
