I've gotten negative fic comments before, but none has been so easy to let roll off my back as last night's anonymous commenter who is furious that I misremembered the layout of the Golden Girls house.

Yeah... if something you need from fanfic is accurate interpretation of visual information, I am probably not who you want to read. I am that reader who skims over physical descriptions and routinely gets to the end of comics pages and realizes I've skipped the pictures. And I swear I can still see Blanche and the others flouncing up a big, beige-carpeted staircase.

It is a bit insulting to imply I could have written that fic without having seen the show, though...
