O hai! I've been thinking of you too and wishing you much the same. And actually things have been pretty good for me personally lately, which is odd juxtaposed with the feeling that everything outside my own bubble is (sometimes literally) on fire, but I'm certainly grateful for it.

I'm glad to hear that! I can relate, actually. Over the past year I've managed to get a few things on a better track and I'm optimistic about the future, and that sometimes feels weird contrasting with stuff way outside the scope of my personal life. But I think that's okay. Our personal journeys don't have to be pegged to the overall trajectory of the World Situation (and it's probably for the best that they're not).
