She kinda unconsciously got used to having him text her every day without prompting, and it takes her a good chunk of the day to figure out why today seems "off" or weird to her ...
When she does realize it's because he hasn't said anything to her, her first reaction is to think he's probably tired of her and is ignoring her. What an asshole! God, she just can't catch a break with these guys, can she?
But after a little while of being asschapped about it, she realizes that he probably wouldn't do something like that maliciously. She wonders if he's okay. Did Hiro finally tell him and he's upset so he hasn't texted? No, Hiro would have told her if he was going to, right? Did something bad happen? No, Hiro would have also contacted her about that. Unless something bad happened to BOTH of them????
No. She would have heard, or felt something from Hiro's chakra. Probably.
So maybe ... he's just busy? Too busy to send her a quick text??? Wow.

Instead, she decides to just wait for him to be asleep in his bunk, Hiro hopefully occupied by some sort of project for the next few hours at least, and lets herself in silently.
