Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends.
Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy this entire and paste into your journal. Change all the answers so that they apply to you. Tis the Season to be NICE!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper. I get hardcore fancy with wrapping paper.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial. There's something to be said about having the same exact tree for the past- oh... 20 years. We got a new one this year tho (for... obvious reasons) It's prelit LED! Nice.
3. When do you put up the tree? Anywhere from the day after Thanksgiving to Three days before Christmas.
4. When do you take the tree down? Um... sometime next year? Longest time we had it was until the end of April. I laughed at having a Christmas Tree at my birthday. But honestly- usually day before or after New Years.
5. Do you like eggnog? Kind of. Every year I end up getting sick from it. (Cold Medication + Alcoholic Eggnog = *barf*)
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Duluna got me a Mighty Ducks Tiger Hand held Game (the crappy $7 ones). I got her the same exact thing and shiii- we'd just sit next to each other yelling out stupid stuff at the game and each other. Best Time Ever Period.
7. Hardest person to buy for? My Mother. I can't tell you how often I bought her a gift and then she buys it sometime the week before Christmas. Oh.My.God. Then she just asks for the gift receipt for the item, returns it for a refund and buys something else. :( I don't know what to get her this year AT ALL.
8. Easiest person to buy for? My brother and sis-in-law. I make chocolate dipped biscotti for them... the end.
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes? It was my Lola's and was very pretty. I just don't think we have it anymore.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail. I love to contribute to the bogging down of the Postal System. :D Plus- stamps are awesome.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Duluna got me a Mighty Ducks Tiger Hand held Game...
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? It's a toss up between "White Christmas" and "The Muppet Christmas Carol" OMG I love that Muppet movie SO MUCH shutupIsingthesongallthetime.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Whatever time qualifies as "last minute"
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Oh yeah. 1/3rd of the time.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Peppermint (candy cane) Anything.
16. Lights on the tree? Yes.
17. Favorite Christmas song? ""Round & Round the Christmas Tree" by Bing Crosby, "Silver Bells" "Percy the Puny Poinsettia" (I can't decide between the three, sorry!)
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Home for the Holidays.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Prancer, Dancer, Comet, Cupid, Dasher, Vixen, Donner, Blitzen.. and... Rudolph perhaps? I think I missed one...
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star. Had a snowman two years ago.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Depends on if my father is off or not. That's the general Law and Christmas Eve is always spent at My Uncles. Always.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? It's not acceptable to call Christmas, Christmas. It must be referred to as Xmas or Holidaymas or VariousReligionTerminologyDay. Also- Christmas doesn't start at the beginning of October, OMG.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Glass and/or White, silver. Beautiful.
24. Favorite for Christmas Dinner? Spiced Hot Chocolate?
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? Just for all my friends and family to have a good time and enjoy themselves. It's only once a year.:)
