Guinevere … by Hito76 on DA, Guinevere, G, Love the play with POV (Arthur/the audience as onlookers) and a very efficient destillation of Gwen's personality in the series. Love.
Merlin and Arthur by MoritoAkira, G, Merlin/Arthur. I keep coming back to this one, probably because of its simplicity and fresh colouring.

You're the Storm by ykx, G, [BAMF!]Merlin, Done for accioscar 's prompt "Merlin in full Knight-of Camelot-armour. Including the red cape." And he wears it well. The background is a bit too cg-ish for me and the colouring bordering on kitschy, but omg, look at his pose! His face! The stance! The fire! The cape! Why can't this be canon?

Shifts in Crystal and Gold bynachte, Merlin/Arthur, PG-13, eventual R to NC-17, Merlin wakes up in an unfamiliar land: the Kingdom of Camelot. I need to take some time to reread and maybe reread Twelve Kingdoms to fully get all the parallels, but this is wonderful, evocative art, storytelling and paneling.
Gwen's Choices byilthit, Gwen, G. Great character study of Gwen, I'm particularly fond of her hair and expression.

Stage of the Ice, the Solid Ocean by anonymous formerlin_holidays, Gwen/Lancelot, Arthur/Merlin, NC-17, Modern AU, When Police Sergeant Lance Dulac begins to investigate a crime in the small Welsh village of Camelot, it stirs up decades of secrets. I love everything about this story, the setting, the town, the whodunit, the atmosphere.
The Walls Do Not Fall by anonymous formerlin_holidays, Merlin/Morgana, NC-17 for PTSD, mentions of war and character death. She loses count of how many times she watches Arthur die on a hill top beneath an eternally blue sky. Hits all my narrative kinks like burning, reincarnation being a pain in the ass, All Of This Has Happened Before, Morgana and her Seer's Gift as the narrative center of the story, a co-existence between Merlin's adoration for Arthur and Merlin/Morgana without devaluing one or the other.

Pin the Crown with a Star by anonymous formerlin_holiday Arthur/Merlin, NC-17, After decades of tyranny under King Sigan’s rule, Arthur travels from his home in Balor to the city of Camelot in search of his friend’s sister. On the way he meets Merlin, a seemingly idiotic commoner who is happy to question why those without magic are treated as second class to those with magic. Didn't finish, because of my weird, new pickishness about AUs, where I need extremely solid characterization, a fork or another narrative frame to see AUs as AUs and not original fic/remix. I was drawn to this because the premise intrigued me and I'm a huge sucker for ye god olde Bildungsroman or other conversations about class in fic, especially in Merlin, and world building.
Remember, Remember, by anonymous formerlin_holidays, Merlin/Arthur, PG-13, 17k, Prince Arthur gives up the person he loves to do his duty, but Merlin's impossible to forget. Talk about a narrative frame, it doesn't get more solid than a retelling of Persuasion. Still couldn't get into it, probably because the style was just a tad too stilted for me.
The Hunt by anonymous formerlin_holidays, NC-17, Merlin/Arthur, AU, knotting, 12k. Those Pendragons, they’re a different sort. Beastly, but clever. It’s said they’re drawn to magic--to power--and that’s how they find their... mate.” The set-up is there to frame the sex (which is scorching hot) and not the other way around, which left me wanting more fleshed-out characters and a world (and more sex).
