Available Services
Accessible Technologies
The Library system offers users accessible technology tools and support, including an Accessible Technology Lab in the Undergraduate Library and Accessible Technology Workstations in several library locations that provide software.
Student Disability Services
The University offers additional resources to users registered with Student Disability Services.
Web Standards
Our aim is to offer a website that is fully compliant with W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
To enhance the accessibility of our resources and services, the library web team is working on a variety of evaluative projects:
- Designing screen reader-friendly pages
- Standardizing color use to ensure sufficient contrast
- Avoiding the use of images for text
- Integrating accessibility needs with our iterative design process
- Reviewing accessibility policy and improvements in our weekly web team meetings
