I'm debating website names. Sorry, no slick polls, those are for paid users only.

Names I have thus far:

Sunken Library
(sunkenlibrary.com)

Final Codex
(finalcodex.com)

I'll take votes for either, or suggestions for something entirely new. This will be the fiction site where I'm posting my most recent project (at first) and additional projects later. I don't want to lock it into a single project, so it needs to be generic enough to support a wide variety of (my) interests.

Thoughts?

Wasn't Final Codex a Battletech supplement?

I hope you understand that the very suggestion of such a thing makes me deeply sad.

Ah well, good thing I've not invested anything but a passing fancy in the name.

Sorry

Still, it's only a partial memory... I could be wrong on this. We can hope?

I vote for Sunken Library. It just seems like it will stick in people's minds more.

Also, I think you meant slick polls. Slick poles are something else entirely.

Oh sure, mock my disabilities.

Really, you should thank me. With Bush out of office, I'm just picking up the slack for linguistic snafus.

I'd like to point out that in just four sentences you have both managed to use "slick poles", "bush", and "linguistic snafus". I don't think I need elaborate...

Don't you already have a Sunken Library website where you post your stories? Or were those very old stories you decided you were going to take down, and have decided to start all breezy and fresh now?

If so, I vote for Sunken Library. Final Codex is a tad inaccessible for me, though you can be niche-y if you want.

I still have Sunkenlibrary.org, though yes, those stories are extremely old. The whole site's a complete mess, and this will definitely be a fresh start. I may yet do something with .org, but I haven't figured out all of that yet.

Sunken Library was always a cool name, or at least that's what I always thought.

Just my two-penn'orth, but I vote sunkenlibrary.com

Well I already voted at Facebook, but I'll cast a second one just to be sure I fill my "Annoy Nii-San" quota for the day. . .

Sunken Library.

Well that just about settles it. The vote's been unanimous. sunkenlibrary.com it is. I'll let folks know when there's something to see at that address aside from a 404.

Yeah plus, Codex makes you sound like White Dwarf's little minion. It's a sad thing. I swear the number of different things that use Codex to make a book sound more important make me pine for the days when people appended "nomicon" to the end of everything instead.
