I want one.
Feb. 16th, 2007 05:38 pmThe Venture One.
It's three wheeled, a hybrid, capable of highway speeds, and it looks beyond awesome. The big difference between this and most of the oddball motorcycles I've posted is that this thing is actually attainable.
Lets review the two kinds of motorcycles I've pointed out in the past:
1) Concept Bikes - Dang pretty aint' they? Pity that they're nothing more than a computer rendered pipe dream. If a prototype has actually been produced, then it's one of a kind, and you will never see it beyond the confines of a screen.
2) Specalty Bikes - Perhaps it had a limited run in the 1980s, or it's in production now from a tiny german company. However you add it up, the math comes out to more than $30,000. Usually above $50,000. For a motorcycle.
The Venture One, on the other hand, will have a full production run. In America, with a set price, which isn't completely insane. ($18,000) I'll probably never have one. Why buy an $18,000 bike when you can get a $10,000 car?
I still want one. I want one badly.
