An /Invite....To Dinner?
[ TO ALL FLIGHTS ]
[ For the first time since those kidnapped by the elves of Sin'thalas were recovered and returned to their respective Flights, someone else is seeing fit to make use of the scrying orbs. An image of a redhaired human woman with bright green eyes becomes visible, wearing an overly serious expression on her face and aqua-coloured powerarmor that's a little too modern and plain science-fictiony for the current era on Azeroth.
Contrary to the armor's colour, the heavy grey cloak worn over it bears a shoulder clasp in red and gold, signifying her true allegience. ]
Hello. I am Agent Carolina, formerly of UNSC Project Freelancer. Now with the Red Dragonflight.
Some of you have been here a while, others may be newly arrived. But we've all been brought here for the same purpose - helping to fight a demon horde that plans on spreading out across to other worlds, other dimensions, such as our own. Things may not be well between our respective flights, but if we are going to make any progress against our common enemy, then the dragonsworn need to be able to work together. We've already proven that we can, after recent events. [A slight downturn of lips - well, except for having to regrind rep with Silverglen: not fun.]
So to that end, at the start of each month the Redsworn will be hosting an open gathering within our Sanctum, open to all flights to attend for a few hours. Those interested in coming should contact someone they know in the Redsworn, or meet some of us at the clearing near to Silverglen Village. We'll then escort you in. Those who are disruptive will be removed. [deadeyes the orb] And you won't be welcome to future gatherings without your Flight's dragon mage having it cleared with ours. [because they need more work, obviously] To my fellow Reds - mind your manners, or you get to explain your behaviour to the Dragonqueen up front and in person.
[ Don't think that she won't personally frogmarch you directly to Alexstrasza herself if need be. ]
I recommend bringing something to contribute to the pot, if you can, or some alternative if you don't eat meat.
Our first gathering is tonight. If you're coming, we'll see you then.
[ With that, her hand passes over the orb and her image vanishes. ]

[Had encountered it after making sure Wash got back to the Bronzeflight that first time. a small shrug follows] However, Krasus has said that those sworn to other flights are welcome within ours, so long as they're accompanied by a Redsworn.
I'm prepared to take his word for it. [cooly] We can even test that now, if you want.
no subject
Are we talking one red per person or can I wrangle those from my flight that want to come? [She wanted to bring the new girl and Jacques probably would tag along.]
no subject
Everyone who wants to is welcome, so long as there's no trouble.
no subject
Where do you want to meet? I'll bite the bullet and be the test subject.

What would one suggest we bring? I am not very familiar with, ah . . . I suppose "cooking" in general is the best way to say it, and I do not eat meat. So I wouldn't have the first clue as to what to bring.
no subject
If you don't cook, that's fine. We have some here who can handle that if need be.
[Mar leapt at the chance with his usual enthusiasm - and wonder of wonders, things actually smell good over there right now.]
What does your flight provide you for you?

Not everything we'll have will be meat dishes, but our resources are still limited right now. [she glances away from the orb a moment with a frown, then lookc back.] We do have some basic roots and rice that we traded for from Silverglen. If you have trouble gathering something you'd enjoy eating, you could try there.

So am I to expect a feast of sorts? All I can really offer to add is bear, but I'm sure you've seen plenty of that, yourself.
no subject
If you can find something else, that would be more welcome, but we won't refuse extra bear.
[they can feed it to the whelplings.]

[Look at him, being all charitable.]

Later, then.
no subject
We wouldn't be intruding on your Sanctum?
[With the way some of these dragons act, it sounds like trespassing on private property to her. Even with an open invitation.]
no subject
If you were, I wouldn't be extending an invitation. It's fine.
[ If she didn't think they could handle it, it wouldn't be an offer she'd make otherwise. Whether they actually can - well now, that's another matter all together. ]
no subject
She smiles, but it's faint and shaky. She sure hopes you're right, Carolina. It would be nice to see other places that aren't covered in sand all the time. At least, she hopes the sanctums aren't all the same.]
These flights seem so particular about being separate from one another, it almost seems strange that we can visit the others whenever we want.
[Hmm, she probably sounds a little too forward with that. Oh well.]
...What would you suggest we bring? Other than meats.
no subject
Hardly whenever. [hence the invitation - which, for the moment, is a one night only affair. Still, stern as she looks, she's not annoyed with Naminé - it isn't her fault that she's here]
If you're not one for meat, berries, fruits, anything your sanctum might provide that you like. Or trade for.
no subject
...Right. [That she can agree with for sure, but the fact that they can do that might be exploited by someone with more questionable intentions.
Looking at you, Blacks.
Aha, unless people really have a huge desire for sand, there's not much around to trade for.] I'll see. The Amber Sanctum may not have much.

I'm sure we'll have left overs you can take with you to feed your dinosaur, too.

I promise I'll keep it under control. Besides, it's too small to really threaten a dragon.

[ so much bear. so so much bear. ]
