In a post, a horizontal rule can be added by using either Markdown or HTML.
Markdown horizontal rule

HTML horizontal rule
The raw text:

is rendered as:
in the saved post.
Comments
Currently neither of these works in a comment. They are omitted from the rendered comment.
Should comments be able to use horizontal rules?
