Info pages try to sort of introduce you to the person. Everyone sounds stereotypical when summarized: human, doctor of computer science, musician, dabbling author, SCAdian, and so forth. I tend toward creating space and security for myself and others, while enabling novelty.

Plus, that way I have a clue who you are and that you find this interesting enough to read regularly. It gives me time to decide if the converse is true; I have a fairly inexpressible algorithm for who I friend, so please don't be offended if I don't reciprocate for everyone, especially folks I haven't met. But if you friend me, and then I don't friend you back, and then you unfriend me just because I didn't immediately friend you back...well, it's all really amusing.
Play nice. Be excellent to each other. Remember that the text on your computer screen is made of actual people. If you're having a bad day, maybe step away from the computer for a while before replying here.
