Tips for getting started!

To support your building journey, we’re offering $1,000 in Azure Credits to the first 500 teams signing up using Founders Hub, access to GitHub Copilot for 30 days, and access to Azure OpenAI Service upon request.  

IMPORTANT: It will take an estimated 1-2 days to receive access to Azure Credits and Azure OpenAI Service. We recommend completing these steps as soon as you register on DevPost; it takes about 10 minutes. 

 

For Azure Credits 

Step 1) Signup for Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub (Important: Under the “Share any other partners affiliated with your business concept” question enter the Partner Code “BuildAI”)

  • Approval will take 1-2 business days. 

  • Access is limited to the first 500 redemptions. 

  • Teams can consist of 2+ individuals. If you are on a team, only one member of your team will be provided with credits. Multiple people on the same team will not be allowed to obtain credits.

  • No additional credits will be provided after 500 requests are fulfilled for the credits

Step 2) After approval from Founders Hub, Activate Azure credits 

*Alternatively, if you are a student you can request access to an Azure for Students account*

 

For Azure OpenAI Service 

Step 1) Request access to Azure OpenAI Service (Important: Please use a non personal email when requesting access - such as a work or school email address)

 

For GitHub Copilot  

  • If you don’t already have access, signup for Github Copilot a 30-day trial

  • If you have already used the GitHub Copilot free 30-day trial, use the following instructions limited to a first come first serve basis of 101 teams.
