mutating | kitchen shenanigans for the win

Location: Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters
When: Sometime in Early 2011, later in the day.
Content: Some weirdo singing while cooking. Yeah idk.
Format: Any! I'm starting with action, but join in with any style you want, seriously.
Notes: Breaking in the new comm! This here is a mingle post, set during the time everyone was at the institute.

[ Gumi had gotten a bit carried away with work earlier, and had missed dinner. It was as she was nearing the finishing touches on whatever it was she was working on that her stomach had growled. Loudly. And she realized that, hey, she was actually kinda hungry. So, she had risen from her chair, stretched, and made her way to the kitchen.

Upon arriving in the kitchen, she instantly set to work, grabbing everything she'd need for just a simple salad (with carrots, yes). As she was chopping up all the veggies she'd need for her salad, though, she started singing.

Yes. Singing.

Who didn't see that coming.

Gumi didn't seem to mind if anyone heard her; she only kept singing as she made herself some food.

So. Who wants to hear her? ]

[Kaito realizes who it is singing as soon as he draws closer to the kitchen. He stops just in the doorway, not wanting to interrupt her.]

[ FOREVER OBLIVIOUS. just gonna keep singing and makin' salad, yep. ]

[He finally ventures into the kitchen.] I feel like I should be charged money for listening to that.

[ jumps a little bit, but turns around and laughs sheepishly. ]

You're in luck, then, because I'm not charging a thing!

Good thing too. I don't have my wallet with me.

[He moves over and reaches for the salad that she was making.]
