Rules

  1. All submissions must be original and must not have been submitted for previous Hackathons. Points will be deducted accordingly, depending on the extent of plagiarism.
  2. Refer to submissions format for specifications on allowed submissions.
  3. All submissions must be done latest by 2.00pm 12 November (Saturday). Any group that fails to submit before stipulated time will be disqualified.
  4. All groups must submit a prototype even if it does not function. This serves to provide proof of their ideas as Creativity and Usefulness account for 50% of the total score in the Judging Criteria (refer to end of document for full judging criteria).
  5. Judges may request participants to demonstrate their prototype during the presentation. Each team has strictly 7 min of presentation time and 3 min for Q&A.
  6. Participants are required to report for the mandatory administrative briefing on 11 November (Friday) 1.00pm. Those who fail to attend the briefing will be disqualified. Additionally, participants without a signed and approved consent form, will immediately be disqualified.
