Gpytoolbox version 0.1.0 has just been released! In this blog post I’m showing you how to use Gpytoolbox for a few basic smoothing tasks you might want to do in everyday geometry processing. Gpytoolbox is developed by me and Silvia Sellán to be an easy-to-use everyday Python geometry processing library.
Silvia Sellán and I are creating a geometry processing library in Python called Gpytoolbox. Gpytoolbox is a general-purpose geometry processing library written for direct use in Python with numpy and scipy datatypes. Use it for your next geometry processing project!
Writing your first scientific computer graphics paper is a difficult task. Beyond the technical and scientific questions, there is a lot of procedural and writing knowledge needed that is not readily accessible in one location. I and others from SIGGRAPH RCDC have published a series of guides on how to write your first paper for ACM SIGGRAPH / TOG. Check it out here: http://research.siggraph.org/guides
