Eligibility: Participants must be over the age of 18. Each team can have a maximum of 4 members. Participants must register prior to the event and present a valid ID at the venue.

Project Submission: Projects must be submitted on time and must be original work. Teams cannot use pre-built projects or templates. All projects must be related to blockchain technology.

Conduct and Behavior: Participants must behave in a professional and respectful manner throughout the hackathon. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the event.

Intellectual Property: All projects must be the original work of the participants. Any use of copyrighted or trademarked material without permission is strictly prohibited.

Judging Criteria: Projects will be judged based on creativity, technical complexity, and potential impact. Judges' decisions are final.

Prize Eligibility: Only those teams who submit their final project before the deadline and comply with all rules and regulations will be eligible for prizes.

Equipment: Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, including laptops, chargers, and any other necessary devices. Waterloo Blockchain will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.

Health and Safety: Participants must comply with all health and safety protocols, including wearing masks and practicing physical distancing. Any participant who shows signs of illness will not be allowed to attend the event.

Code of Conduct: Participants must adhere to the Waterloo Blockchain Code of Conduct, which includes respecting the intellectual property rights of others, maintaining a safe and respectful environment, and adhering to all local laws and regulations.
