FAQ

General is the free entry tier. It gives you access to select public online events, in-person meetups in Amsterdam, dedicated newsletters and curated resources, and the General area in Circle, the all-in-one platform we use to host the OPEN community.

Plus is for members who want ongoing learning throughout the year. It includes monthly interactive online events, monthly Journal Club sessions, access to 60+ OPEN recordings, ICPR 2022 & 2024 recordings, access to the General and Plus Circle areas, and member discounts with early access to OPEN Foundation offerings.

Pro is the professional track. It includes everything in Plus, with expanded professional programming: additional events and masterclasses focused on psychedelic therapy practice and research, Peer Perspectives, Psyche and Praxis Forum sessions, full OPEN Circle access, and full archive access.

The Pro tier is intended for professionals with formal training, education, or licensure in relevant fields, including psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychology, medicine, neuroscience, pharmacology, and related disciplines. If that’s you, we invite you to become a member!

If the Pro tier is not the right fit for you, you are still more than welcome to join our General or Plus tiers!

No. The Pro tier is not a certification, licensure, or clinical qualification pathway, and it is not a substitute for accredited professional training.

What it does offer is sustained access to high-quality, expert-led learning. For many members, Pro functions as a valuable complement to formal education and clinical training.

If you’re interested in psychedelic-assisted therapy, please explore our training alternatives: Foundations of Psychedelic Therapy and ADEPT – Advanced Education in Psychedelic Therapy.

Yes! We actively encourage Pro tier members to contribute to the community by sharing their work, perspectives, and questions.

Through member-led formats such as Peer Perspectives, the Journal Club, and discussion-based sessions and Q&A spaces, members can present research, clinical reflections, embodied practices, and interdisciplinary viewpoints.

These contributions are an important part of the Pro tier: they strengthen peer-to-peer learning, foster meaningful collaboration, and help surface the depth of expertise within the community.

If you’d like to share your work with the OPEN Community, please let us know here.

Peer Perspectives is a bi-monthly, member-led series within the Pro tier.

Each 60-minute session is hosted by a Pro member and showcases work from within our network, including research, clinical insights, embodied practices, and cultural perspectives, followed by a Q&A segment and open discussion. The goal is to foster peer-to-peer learning in a warm, collegial setting and to highlight the depth and diversity of expertise present in the community.

The Psyche and Praxis Forum is a discussion-based format designed to bring members together for thoughtful dialogue on key ethical and professional challenges in the psychedelic field.

Members review preparatory materials in advance. The live session then centers on it and uses it as a springboard for small-group and whole-group conversation. Together, participants explore key questions that connect theory, ethics, and real-world practice.

The Journal Club focuses on scientific papers on psychedelic research.

Sessions help members engage critically with current literature across topics such as clinical outcomes, safety, mechanisms, therapeutic models, and research methods. The emphasis is on improving research literacy, discussing implications for practice, and learning through structured, evidence-informed dialogue.

At this stage, CE credits are not included in any membership tier.

That said, we recognise how important accredited continuing education is for many professionals, and this remains an active area of development for us. We are currently exploring partnerships and accreditation pathways that could support CE-eligible offerings in the future.

Yes! Professional members can participate in member-led lectures, discussions, and Q&A sessions. This is a great way to share your insights and collaborate with peers.

We offer a 50% discount on all plans for students and individuals with low income, with particular attention to applicants from the Global South.

Our aim is to make the community more accessible while maintaining the quality of programming and exchange. If cost is a barrier, please fill in this form. We carefully review these requests and will do our best to support your participation.

Here’s how you can cancel your membership at any time.
