persecutioncomplex[Touko has come back from work to a broken-in door and a bedroom turned over as if it's been ransacked by raccoons. The shock almost doubles her over, though she's heard the word "theft" on the edge of her hearing a few times today, almost promising it would happen to her. She searches her room for the loss of anything important, but all that's disappeared she barely wanted anyway.
[It's the principle that matters. Her consciousness has been invaded so many times that maybe she should have expected the world around her to undergo the same, but she's been safe, she realizes, and now she isn't. She has a record of who did it, though, and it's with a grim smile that she reels back her camera footage to get a look at the perpetrator full in the face.
[The video, however, displays none of this. It is a fairly high-definition image of the hallway outside her door, a time stamp dating from several hours before in the corner. A sneaking figure can be seen entering the frame, trying the door, and fumbling with the lock for several minutes before testing his strength against the door. For a moment, his face turns up to the camera, and it's clearly Mason ramming the door open before it splinters. It freezes on a frame of him exerting all his strength before immediately cutting to Touko, who has firmly planted herself in her doorway. The hand that isn't minding the camera is clawing at the roots of her hair, and she's flushed with the exertion of maintaining enough self-control to form words instead of shriek.]
I-i've found who's responsible. For all these burglaries. I don't know what kind of pervert you are, taking clothing you can't even wear, but you're going to bring everything you took from my room back to me within an hour, or...
[For a moment, she's overcome, and a heavy swallow of breath rushes in before she can speak again.]
