I'm delighted that we matched on one of my small fandoms! I excited to read whatever you come up with. Some general guidance on writing a fic for me, and fandom-specific details, are below. I'd be delighted to receive treats if you happen to be browsing my letter and inspired! (FYI: I'm Rhea on AO3)
Things I like in general:
For all of the fandoms I’m requesting this year I’m fine with porn for my ship (e.g. any rating G to NC-17 is fine).
The 'some general ideas/prompts' I list are for spring-boarding off of if you need/want it, please don't feel you have to write to-prompt, I'm excited to read where your inspiration takes you!
Witch King - Martha Wells
What it is and what I like about it: Fantasy novel. I enjoy the world building and magic system and Kai's character, and Bashasa is also very delightful.
OTP: Kaiisteron/Bashasa Calis
Some general ideas/prompts: I would love a Kai/Bashasa fic! That could be:
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
What it is and what I like about it: Fantasy adventure movie. I enjoy the found family and friendship and the generally joyful excitement the movie takes in its world, its just a good time. Xenk is the standout character who stole the show for me.
OTP: Xenk Yendar/Edgin Darvis
Some general ideas/prompts:

- focus on humiliation whether verbal or situational (whether in a porn or non-porn context),
- age-regression/de-aging, ageplay,
- epistolary, texting, social media fic i.e. anything solely based in messages; it is fine to include messages/letters/posts within a fic.
- 1st and 2nd person,
- omegaverse fic
- infidelity,
- derogatory language used in sexual situations,

- miscommunication as a primary driver of plot,
- permanent major character death (unless it’s canon),

- Something set during the war with the hierarchs (whether that's heat-of-battle protecting each other, or post-battle I'm-so-glad-you're-still-here connecting, or domestic interludes during travel or all of the above)
- Something set post hierarchs war in the new world order with Bashasa in power/leadership
- Vingettes set in an established relationship
- Why is Kai called Witch King (being neither a witch nor a king) - is this somehow related to his relationship w/ Bashasa?
Nine Worlds - Victoria Goddard
What it is and what I like about it: A fantasy book series set across several worlds. I am specifically requesting characters for The Lays of the Hearth-Fire, I am familiar with that duology and the connected/adjacent novellas. I have not read the Red Company books. I generally don't enjoy 1st or 2nd person narration. Through fandom I'm beginning to get it and particularly when the canon-typical 1st/2nd is broken up w/ alternating POV of canon-typical 3rd for Cliopher that's worked for me. I'm also good with pure-1st particularly for shorter duration fics (or primarily 1st with limited asides for 2nd). So my preference is strongly for just a 3rd person fic, but if you're inspired to use a canon-typical 1st person (or 1st w/ some limited use of 2nd) this fandom is an exception to that DNW.
OTP: Cliopher "Kip" Mdang/Artorin Damara | Fitzroy Angursell
Some general ideas/prompts: I ship these two romantically and if you want to include sex in your fic for them, that's fine with me.

- I do love Cliopher reforming the government, so if you want to write the small steady work of the march of change I'd be here for that, whether Petty Treasons era, or interstitial in HOTE
- Secret love letter correspondents AU - everything's the same but Cliopher (under some a pseudonym, or possibly as "Kip" rather than "Cliopher") and Fitzroy (under "Fitzroy"?) are writing to each other from early-ish on, maybe Petty Treasons era?, possibly this ties in to the Fitzroy throwing his first poems out the window, like Cliopher finds them and there's a magic to send messages back and forth without knowing exact location/person you are communicating with? I'm not remembering all the details so I have no idea if these suggestions make any sense but in short: correspondents -> romantic correspondents pipeline w/ identity shenanigans.
- Smudgies for Kip always welcome
- Could possibly tie into the former, or be its own thing but something Tam Lin adjacent where Cliopher has to hold on to His Radiency through a number of shifting forms.
- Kip dealing with magical hijinks in a solid, competent way (curse breaking: Kip is cursed, HR is cursed? both?)
- Soulmate AU - could be an interesting trope for this canon, whether pain sharing or emotion sharing soulmates, or touch-imitated soulmate identification, or symbolic image soulmate marks (I'm not interested in soulmate goose of enforcement variety though).

- Edgin's first adventure as an empty-nester once Kira's moved out, Xenk joining in, Holga along for the ride to laugh at them (fond).
