I'm delighted that we're matched on one of these small fandoms. Vids are excellent and I can't wait to see what you come up with!
I'm always happy to be introduced to new-to-me music through vids, it's how I find some of my favorite artists and songs. But if you'd like, here are some examples of music/musicians I like already: Dessa, Griff, Glades, Taylor Swift, Tiffany Day, Lil Nas X, Years & Years, Vienna Teng, BOY, Be Steadwell, Alexander James Adams, Mon Rovîa, Adia Victoria, Indigo Girls, Mary Lambert, Lady Bri, Chvrches, Oh Wonder, Owl City, Little Mix, Foxes, Cloudy June, Haley Kiyoko, Carly Rae Jepsen, Liang Lawrence.
DNWs: I don't enjoy music with screaming/shouting in it. I don't enjoy most metal, hard rock, punk music, or twang-y country music. Please avoid inclusion of audio from the source. Please no added script/words over the footage throughout the vid (optional subtitles are fine, title & author / vid meta data at end or beginning are fine), color correcting to fix lighting is totally fine but I prefer vids in a natural color range rather than color-corrected to an unnatural appearance (like teal/orange, all purple in tone, etc).

What it is and what I like about it: 12 episode queer horror anime. I love all the characters and the source's exploration of what is monstrous, internalized homophobia, and grief. Canon queer source.
What I want in a vid: I love both main characters so, so much! So if you want to do a character study of Yoshiki or a character study of 'Hikaru' I would be very into either of those vids. I ship it too, so if you wanted to do a vid looking at their relationship I'd be here for that. Rie Kurebayashi is also neat if you wanted to make a vid about her. An aesthetic small town horror vid would also not go amiss. I'm usually squeamish about horror but somehow this show has managed to find the exact right balance where none of the imagery is a problem for me. It's like lofi cozy horror to my brain and I'm okay with that.
Do not want: The the flashing/strobing/flickering used in horror parts can be a bit much for me so I would appreciate if you could avoid using bright/dark strobing clips.

What it is and what I like about it: Webcomic about one of the only survivors of a dungeon expedition that saved the world. Angst, survivor guilt, suicidal ideation, competency, and identity shenanigans. It's like this story was designed as catnip for me personally. I really enjoyed the action sequences in this webcomic and it was one of my first experiences of how a webcomic can use the vertical scrolling format to create motion/time/shifting in action, which is really cool. Canon queer source.
What I want in a vid: I love Yoon Seo | Seo Chaeyoon very much so a character study vid for him would be lovely. I also ship Kwon Jihan/Yoon Seo | Seo Chaeyoon so if you wanted to do a ship vid I'd like that too.

내가 키운 S급들 | The S-Classes That I Raised (Webcomic)
What it is and what I like about it: Webcomic time travel fix-it/do-over where the main character collects people and creatures to parent(?) into being their best selves (sort of). Has the good backstory angst with the pre-regression context, found family feelings, Sung Hyunjae and Han Yoojin's slashiness has baited me but good.
What I want in a vid: A Sung Hyunjae/Han Yoojin ship vid would be great! I don't expect it'll become actual canon but their push-pull, kinky, whatever it is they've got going on is very of interest to me. I'd also be up for a Han Yoojin character study vid. Bak Yerim is fun too if you wanted to do a vid about her. Or a Kang Soyoung/Liette vid could be fun (not sure if there's enough visual content for that actually tho)
Do not want: Han Yoojin/Han Yoohyun as a ship. Han Yoojin/Bak Yerim as a ship.

What it is and what I like about it: Omegaverse political intrigue and royalty family drama webcomic. The Empress is such a good villain. I appreciate that Etienne is smart and doing his best in a bad situation. Canon queer source.
What I want in a vid: An Etienne character study would be lovely! I ship Etienne and Rishar so if you want to do a romance vid I'd be down for that - though I find the politics/plotting/intrigue most interesting so if that could also be captured in with a ship vid that'd be my preference. If you wanted to make a women's wrongs vid for the Empress that could be fun.

二哈和他的白猫师尊 - 肉包不吃肉 | The Husky and His White Cat Shizun - Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat (Book)
What it is and what I like about it: Book series, time travel fix-it/do-over. Chu Wanning's self esteme issues! Mo Ran's who-am-I-really identity issues given the past timeline!, competency! -(I'm in the middle of reading book 7 at the moment Update: I am now reading book 9 and anticipate I will have finished it by Festivids go live), but having watched vids and things I'm already vaguely spoilered in a variety of ways so feel free to vid the whole story. Canon queer source.
What I want in a vid: I'm here for a Mo Ran/Chu Wanning ship vid for sure. Character studies for either of them also welcome. Source-wise/visually I'd be interested in something constructed reality not pulling from any of the visual adaptations available for this canon. Or instead, if you want to mix media and use book art, the mobile game, webcomic/manhua, fanart, fan animation, and any other visual adaptation sources to create a book vid I'd also be into that. There's some behind the scenes footage for Immortality that's been leaked, most of it I think wouldn't work as it's very RPF feeling of people goofing off out of character, or unfinished/green screen, but there might be some of it that feels blend-able/performing-a-scene enough to fit into a book vid.

メタモルフォーゼの縁側 | Metamorufoze no Engawa | BL Metamorphosis (2022) [SAFETY]
What it is and what I like about it: Japanese movie about an intergenerational friendship of a 75 year old woman and 17 year old high school girl who bond over a shared interest in BL manga.
What I want in a vid: I love Yuki Ichinoi finding a new passion in her 70s and jumping into it without shame. A vid centering that enthusiasm would be lovely in a character study for her. I do also appreciate looking at feelings about art and creation if you wanted to do something more Urara Sayama focused as a character piece instead. Or of course I'd love a vid for their friendship.

Buddy Daddies (Anime)
What it is and what I like about it: 12 episode (or 13 depending on if you include the clip/recap episode) comedy accidental baby acquisition assassins anime. I love that Miri actually feels like a little kid in this show. I appreciate the building-a-family together feels and Rei and Kazuki as a ship.
What I want in a vid: A vid on their family unit would be delightful, I'd also be excited for a Rei/Kazuki ship vid.
Do not want: I'm not particularly interested in a solely Miri focused vid.
Deadloch (TV)
What it is and what I like about it: 8 episode Australian black comedy buddy cop show. Compelling and witty with interesting characters (and lots of lesbians). Canon queer source.
What I want in a vid: I love the leading ladies so an ensemble-type vid of Dulcie, Eddie, and Abby would be great. I'd also be delighted with a character study for any of those three. An overall summary/general vid, or friendship(s)-focused vid would also be welcome.
Do not want: I do not want a romantic/ship vid for this source, I don't want anything focused on any of the men.
