Other Characters Played: N/A

Series: Mobile Suit: Gundam Wing
Character: Heero Yuy
Timeline: Post-Preventers 5

Personality:
On the surface, especially in the beginning of Operation Meteor, Heero is cool and stoic, even rude. He doesn’t socialize and merely enrolls into Relena’s school as a cover-up for his mission. There are no wasted words with Heero Yuy. Actions mean everything to him and if it compromises his mission, he won’t say a word at all. And if it means killing himself or taking another person's life if they saw too much (such as Relena), he wouldn't think twice about offing them.

However, just because Heero Yuy doesn’t display emotions, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have them. He is shocked and confused with himself when he cannot bring himself to kill Relena. If he is enjoying himself, he will allow himself to laugh. He does have a sense of humor, though it is dry and sarcastic. He respects and trusts his comrades.

Heero is a loner. He prefers to work alone the majority of the time, relying on himself and his own judgments to carry out his plans. He never second-guesses himself (unless Relena is involved; she is the only one who ever caused him to feel confusion over his own decisions).

When looking past that almost cruel and untouchable exterior over the course of the series, however, he is a kind person, as noticed by Relena. Inherently, despite being trained to fight since childhood, he feels remorse and kindness, particularly when faced with innocence. In AC 194, he was assigned to destroy an Alliance base on a colony, and he met a little girl and her puppy and befriended them. When he inadvertently caused the destruction of their apartment building that resulted in their deaths, he becomes emotional and buries them in his remorse. Additionally, when he causes the death of Noventa, he apologizes and offers Sylvia Noventa the opportunity to kill him in return. This shows that he has an innate sense of justice and a solid moral compass.

The scientists who trained and altered his genes noticed the emotion he felt and sought to remove all traces of those “hindering qualities.” Thus, he became the Perfect Soldier and does not show any emotion in the battlefield. Since then, he sees his own life as cheap, but ultimately, values all life in and of itself aside from his own. If there is an alternative, he would much rather avoid the loss of innocent lives.

It is only at the end of the Eve Wars when Heero Yuy announces that he intends to survive. He now values his own life as well, and seeks to live in a newfound peace. His time with Relena had given him a will to live and protect.

In the final battle, Milliardo Peacecraft notices the difference between Heero and himself. Heero is pure, and empathizes with the people. Despite Heero’s distant and aloof nature, it is clear to everyone that he is willing to put his life on the line for others and sees the bigger picture. It isn’t about the colonies completely wiping out every other political power. It was about peace and freedom.

A key factor in understanding Heero Yuy is knowing that when he has a mission, he will see to it that it is completed without fail - but he will complete the mission in his own way, the way he deems necessary or fitting. If his mission does not coincide with his emotions, he will choose a different direction. For example, when Relena Peacecraft is crowned Queen of the World, he intends on assassinating her. He is interrupted by thunderous applause at her words, however, and follows his emotions, allowing Relena to live and see what she can do for peace.

He is not merely a tool of war. He is capable of making his own moral choices based on the options given to him. The only allegiance he has is to the colonies, and later, to the peace that results from the Eve Wars.

Heero Yuy is the Perfect Soldier: complex, cold, and focused entirely on his mission. On the battlefield, he displays no remorse or feeling. And yet, he lives by one rule that seems to mold the person he becomes over the years. Live by your emotions.

Abilities/Additional Notes: Heero Yuy is a Newtype, a genetically manipulated human being. Therefore, with heightened reflexes, strengths, and thought processes, he is trained to be the Perfect Soldier. He was trained in self-discipline, extreme body control, and increased ability to reason and react. (He sets his own broken leg, is shot multiple times, and even survives self-destruction of his own Gundam). He is an expert in mobile suit piloting, computer hacking, demolitions, and close combat. He knows his weapons and how to handle them with precision, accuracy, and efficiency. He has the capacity to engineer and upgrade his own machines. Additionally, the ZERO system in his Gundam supports him in combat and amplifies his consciousness in the battlefield. He has the mental and physical capacity to handle the stress.
… Has a soft spot for puppies, innocence, and teddy bears.

Accidental Video; --> Text;

[The 3STP seems to have turned on by itself.

It shows a dark apartment room, barely illuminated by the glow of a laptop on top of a coffee table and a young man with brown hair and deep, piercing blue eyes sitting before it on the couch. His sharp eyes are narrowed in concentration and he types furiously and quickly with complete accuracy.

He pauses to search the screen, and his scowl deepens for a moment. It’s as if he’s found what he’s looking for. The information he’s looking for.

Then, the blinking 3STP catches his attention. His expression, if possible, only grows harsher as he picks it up.]

... Hn.

[A faulty device. He’ll have to fix that before it causes him more trouble than it’s worth. With that, he closes the video feed.

Later, text appears. This will be a good way to cover up his activities if he ever decides to take action against these “gods.” A job that pays but is unassuming is preferable. He will not own his own business - that is too conspicuous.

Of course, the resume leaves out quite a bit about him and has only bits of the truth. Mundane things. Basketball, straight A’s, an interest in engineering. Looks to be a simple resume from a teenager.

No mention of piloting Gundams or ending wars here. That’s fine. This is a different place altogether.]

My name is Heero Yuy. I am in the market for employment. Attached is a resume detailing my skills and educational accomplishments. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sample RP:
It wasn’t the first time Heero Yuy woke up in a hospital room. It wasn’t the first time he escaped soon after waking either. He had a mission to complete, after all.

He didn’t bother waiting for any staff members to see to him. He had questions, but like hell if he was going to ask anyone here. He’d find out for himself. Just moments ago, the Preventers had called him in regarding Relena’s safety once more being jeopardized, and then he was here. This had to be a set-up of some sort.

At the very least, his weapons and Preventer jacket were present in the room, along with his pack and laptop. Everything he had on his person was accounted for. He found it rather odd that they hadn’t unarmed him, but he accepted it for what it was if it didn’t hinder the mission. He did find another mechanism on his person, however. A small phone, perhaps. A higher model. No doubt a tracking device of some sort? If it was, though, why would it be left here if they knew he would be in this hospital in the first place? He decided to take it with him, along with that strange card that came with it. He would find out what they were and experiment with them if he had to.

If it gave him a clue as to his whereabouts and the whereabouts of Relena and the others, he would do what he had to do.

Gather the necessary information to establish his location and situation. Find out where Relena was taken captive and commence rescue procedures. Rendezvous with the others. Make an escape without incensing the enemy to take drastic action. Then, find out how he ended up here and their motives. Peace had to be protected at all costs. And he had to live to see it come to fruition.

Mission accepted.
