Reviews and re(-)views from a bibliobibuli, cinemaphile, music junkie, comic geek, and occasional televisionary and video gamer.

I had attempted a re(-)view journal a few years ago, but not much became of it. This is Version 2. I'll repost whatever old reviews I can find (and they'll be tagged as such), but everything else will be freshly done.

I'm a media fiend. I love novels, movies, music, TV, video games, plays, etc. I'll probably cover a bit of everything here, from so-called "classics" to contemporary "pop" novels. As far as I'm concerned, a good story is a good story, no matter how it's dressed up (or down, as the case may be).

Abbreviations: A list of frequently used abbreviations which may appear in re(-)views.

Re(-)viewer: Only I post here. If you want to post your own re(-)views, do so in your own space. Unless otherwise stated, all items re(-)viewed will be the Canadian/North American version.

Memories: This journal was recently imported, so the memories are not in place. They are at the LJ equivalent, however.

Tags: All entries will also be tagged, with logical tags like author name, series name, etc. Check out the tags if you want to do some backtracking.

Requests: I may do requests, but they would be subject to several variables: the availability of the thing to be reviewed, my time schedule, my interest in said thing, etc.

Spoilers: All re(-)views may contain spoilers. (And traces of nuts, but only the crazy mental kind.) Thus all re(-)views are placed behind cuts. If you read a re(-)view and get spoiled, that's your fault, not mine.

Legalities: Excerpts belong to the owners of the source material. These re(-)views are purely opinion only. I have no affiliations with any media company.

Copyright: Yes, the pretentious copyright notice of DOOM! You knew it was coming. Unless noted, every piece of writing posted here is copyrighted to me. Do not use, redistribute, post elsewhere, etc. without my permission.

* = And yes, pithetic is a play on both pathetic and prophetic. I do know how to spell, thanks.
