soul_campaign Agency Trash Plot!!!
Hello, guys! This is Grey, resident Franziska von Karma player (among other annoying characters) and this is my musebox of sorts. Anyway! As you may have heard (or not), we've been working for a somewhat big plot for the Agency.
Brief history! It started with a plot from the CR meme... about a year ago or so... with me and Len (Monk-mun) wanting to have Franziska and Monk on a case that involves someone littering in Death City. Then last November, Huudel (Raidou-mun) got into it and suddenly people were dying because the crime is always murder. Oh, and insanity. And then I wanted some human trafficking stuff. Then Auste brought it up to the mods with some of her plans for Edgeworth which ended up with some mod feedback about how it's possible that we're going against an Anti-Shibusen faction within Death City instead of Witches.
Okay, so basically the plot is this: A madman starts to litter around Death City, pushing trashcans over, messing with the dumpsters, just making a general mess. Some members of the Agency (Monk and Franziska most likely... they have no lives) go around chasing the madman and capture him. If we don't get the rest of the plot approved, we could end here. If we do get the rest of the plot approved, this is what's planned to happen. After arresting the madman, we find out that he's someone BREW brought over from another world (guest NPC?) like the rest of our characters. Hidden among the trash that he scattered around are clues that lead to an organization of Anti-Shibusen people who reside in Death City. What they do is they take those sent over by BREW who don't want to work for Shibusen and try to smuggle them out of the city. Something might have happened during this particular madman's trip out of DC. Maybe there was an accident along the way and he got hit with the madness wavelength and managed to get back to DC to warn people? Or maybe he was tortured and went mad? Either way, the Agency finds the clues (through the trash... ewww...), and just when they try to confront the madman about it (he might have escaped by this time) boom! The madman's deadbecause the crime is always murder maybe because the organization wanted to silence him. The Agency tries to hunt down the criminal organization. POW! PAK! BOOM! Justice wins again!
These plans aren't definite (look at the number of maybes in that paragraph) and the mods require a more fleshed out write-up before things get approved. And I need some help from you guys... a lot of help. If it's not too much, I'd like to ask you guys for the following things:
1) Feedback and a discussion. State your concerns, plans, slap me around with a fish, etc.
2) That you guys answer the surveys in the comments. It's basically about everyone's strengths and weaknesses as members of the Agency and your plans for your characters. It's so it'll be easier to plot out opportunities that will give every character/Agency member their chance to shine.
3) That we take into consideration the feasibility and the flexibility of the plot. (though... yeah, just let me worry about this. Go wild.)
4) That you guys prod me to have this plot proposal e-mailed to the mods by February 14th. Because technically I owe you guys this since Christmas... and then Christmas passed so I said Chinese New Year's but that's done too... |||orz
Thank you for reading this and... uhm... help?

Taking NPC guests from the BREW would be impossible to do. The reason why all of BREW's guests are player characters is because they have the power to change Death City history according to how they are played out. To suddenly NPC them for this sort of thing inserts a factor into the actions of the guest agents without their consent, which would start making the situation far more complicated.
I do have a suggestion though. What I suggest is that instead of NPC guests, the people kidnapped were just people coming to Death City for safety and ended up being tricked by the anti-Shibusen into going with them. Like it could be similar to the human traffickers that Mexicans go to in order to smuggle them into America - that sort of thing. People want to be smuggled into America to go to safety Death City represents so then they can get away from the more dangerous areas/countries.

And thanks. I need a lot of help with the in-game politics/international relations. o/

SURVEYS
SURVEY # 1
Who do you play in the Agency?
What are your character's strengths? In terms of the being a part of the Agency. Could be anything from investigation skills, fighting skills, feeding people cake, moral support, experience with odd jobs, etc.
What are your character's weaknesses? second verse, almost the same as the first. Again, could be anything from being really easy to piss off to having bad fashion sense. If you feel the need to warn everyone about your character's smelly feet, then by all means--
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? ... you know, provided that they do go to the office. Monk's Monk. Grit does not exist. In other words, what does your character do/has done for the Agency?
Etc. Anything else worth noting? Parting words? A gif?
By the way, bullet points are totally fine with me.

Who do you play in the Agency? Raidou
What are your character's strengths? Kicking ass in a fight, keeping a cool head and staying focused, investigating, being hard to intimidate, making tea/coffee, always being polite, having the best hat... That's about it, I think.
What are your character's weaknesses? Trying to be social beyond generic pleasantries, overworking himself constantly, sometimes being too obedient when it comes to taking orders, having a very lacking understanding of technology. He also has kind of a weird sense of taste and thus isn't that good a cook. And his sweet tooth is kind of terrible.
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? Morning training and classes, then work until the evening unless someone drags him off to socialize. He'll do pretty much anything that happens to be relevant at the time, from small to big cases to just doing errands or cleaning up the office. And buying Franziska's groceries. :|
Etc. Anything else worth noting? Parting words? A gif? Hey Fran I have your whip

Re: SURVEY # 1
Who do you play in the Agency? Kei
What are your character's strengths? Investigating skills, planning, and he also tends to bake cookies and make good quality tea?
What are your character's weaknesses? He daydreams often, and sometimes loses focus of what he is doing. He tends to be calm and rational but he gets quite irritated if one calls him a creep or an idiot.
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? ... you know, provided that they do go to the office. Monk's Monk. Grit does not exist. In other words, what does your character do/has done for the Agency? Well, I assumed that he read past cases, organized them and took notes, and perhaps would engage on minor cases (don't know, like finding a lost pet or stuff like that).
Etc. Anything else worth noting? Did I filled this in correctly?

Who do you play in the Agency? Yako
What are your character's strengths? She's excellent when it comes to understanding people, criminals or otherwise. She's fairly good at connecting dots and working at puzzles, though she's still learning more by the day. She's good at talking to hostile parties and negotiating as well.
What are your character's weaknesses? she's not much of a physical fighter, but luckily she doesn't usually have to fight. She's also hiding a bad case of PTSD, is probably depressed, is burying herself in her work, and is terribly, terribly homesick. But she hides it away behind a bright, happy grin and copious cakes.
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? Get up, eat, walk Kerberos, go to morning training and sometimes a class, go to work, step out briefly at lunch to eat an insane amount and check on Kerberos again, work until closing time or until the bosses tell her to go home. At the office, she basically files, offers suggestions on angles in cases when the opportunity presents itself, and probably works on minor cases.
...oh, and she keeps their little kitchen stocked with something yummy everyday.
Etc. Hiiii senpai!

Who do you play in the Agency? Alucard
What are your character's strengths? He's a damn tank. Very tall. Snappy dresser. Best hair in the Agency. Works alongside Raidou. Also possesses a very keen sense of smell, slightly less than a dog's. Cast iron stomach.
What are your character's weaknesses? In Weapon form, water burns him. Also for being such a tank, he doesn't have a lot of confidence to back it up. The future kind of intimidates him and he's not used to working with a lot of people but he tries.
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. He hangs out with Raidou a whole lot, so morning practice then off to the Agency to either solve cases or be a body guard. He does not do chores nor does he do Fran's shopping.

Who do you play in the Agency? Your brother.
What are your character's strengths? But you already know his strengths. D= Logic and deduction (plus sparkles), law expertise because yay six years of prosecutionz, being able to keep calm under pressure (mooost of the time) and to think his way out of things, investigaaaaaaation, knowledge of the best blends of tea, carrying spare cravats, organizing things (it goes with the whole connecting-my-thoughts thing), being the classiest gentleman you ever did see,
being the best brother everWhat are your character's weaknesses? SOCIAL AWKWARDNESS. How does he people. How does he social gatherings. How does he show genuine concern after years of believing all these feelings are unnecessary. He comes off as intimidating and cold EVEN TO THE PEOPLE HE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT. And, when he blows his lid, HE BLOWS HIS LID. Uh um he still has a little bit of that perfectionism left in him so he can beat himself up mentally when he fails at things (WHY DID I FAINT DURING THAT EARTHQUAKE IN HAZAKURA WHY). And yup, fear of earthquakes, fear of elevators.
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? Before going to the office, he has morning training, classes, and one-on-one training with Azusa. Then work, where he mostly sits at his desk and studies when there's not much to do, but if there IS something to do HE'S ON THE CASE INVESTIGATING THE HECK OUT OF IT. As much as possible he doesn't miss work. THEN HE HAS TEA AND GOES HOME TO OUR SWINGING CONDO.

Who do you play in the Agency?
that demon lady with the whipFranziska von KarmaWhat are your character's strengths? speeding up processes, getting past red tape, evidence gathering, 5 years of practicing law (damn you Edgeworth), actually good with PR and negotiations if you don't mind the borderline blackmail, protective, she cares for everyone in her own way okay shut up, can hold her own in a fight (but not a trained fighter),
crazy!preparedprepared for emergencies, thinks on her feetWhat are your character's weaknesses? every skill goes out the window when she's pissed off and she's very easy to piss off, her determination to get things done can be self-destructive (ranges from pulling an all nighter to charging into things while critically injured), highly competitive, very violent, annoying tendency to gloat like a villain before everything's over, dependent on praise and validation, a bully, she does a lot of underhanded things to get what she wants.... (unsure)
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does she do when she's in the office?
Wake up in the morning feeling like F.vKwake up early, light breakfast, walk the dog (unless it's Edgeworth's turn) to morning training, morning training, go home to freshen up, (walk the dog) go to the office (and leave the dog outside), PAAAAAAPERWORK, leave the office when that's done toterrorize the streetsstart her own MAFIAadvertise the agency and start/forge connections with stores, busines, etc., take on cases/consultation jobs if they're there, return to the office before 5 and (not so silently) judge those who stay after office hours, go home, (silently stress out over all the little details), chores etc., (stress more because everything is imperfect), possibly finish some job-related things (burning the midnight oil if she has to), sleepEtc.

SURVEY # 1
Who do you play in the Agency? Yuri Petrov
What are your character's strengths? Intelligence gathering, research, he's great with computers as well. Yuri's extremely proficient with fighting, and is extremely fit, but none of these skills are known to anybody currently in the game since Yuri hasn't show anyone.
What are your character's weaknesses? His shoulder is still tender from a gunshot wound he brought over from his canon series. Outside of that, all of his weaknesses are mental: namely any references to his father, Mr. Legend. He also sees everything as black and white: you're either innocent or guilty.
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? Yuri works at both the Agency and the Watch. He'd start in the office at the Agency in the morning, then works at the Watch during the afternoon, before returning to the Agency to catch up on work. He'd be wherever he needs to be, so if/when there's something going down at the Agency, he will spend the majority of his time there (and vice versa).

Things you don't want to happen to your character: well, I don't want him to die. And I think he's been injured often enough that I'd pass up on very severe injuries. Other thatn that, though, I'm fine with Raidou taking a beating if it comes to that.

Re: SURVEY # 2
Well, for this plot would love that Kei would be part of the checking the trash team because the poor guy won't be happy with the dirtyness.
As for general plotting of the agency... well, have been thinking of suggesting it for a while but, couldn't there be perhaps a list of minor cases to take? like for example: find the underwear thief, find the lost puppy...
And on this minor cases, there could be also a sort of indication of amount of agents which requires, so that a character would have to randomly parter up with another/s because he/she was ordered to take the case together?... Just a suggestion tho, I know this is sort of huge amount of work to set this things, but it would be funny to have it xD
Things you don't want to happen to your character: like die, get gravely injured, not get gravely injured, etc. Death just.

OKAY SERIOUSLY just the whole investigation thing. Edgeworth doesn't like being bored and not having anything to do and not having any suspicious-looking nooks and crannies to inspect. I kind of want to delve more into his investigative side and his logic and all.

Who do you play in the Agency? Fuuka Yamagishi
What are your character's strengths? Moral support, investigation skills, organization, being polite, trying to keep calm at the worse situations, good with technology
What are your character's weaknesses? Lolol what cooking skills, being too polite, being kind of a wallflower, what physical strength, can't keep up with anything too athletic
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? Morning training, classes, get breakfast, work at the agency for a couple of hours, go talk to Colette if there's any missions she wants to go to, talk to a couple of people if she has time in the evening too.
Etc.

Who do you play in the Agency? Naoto Shirogane
What are your character's strengths? Investigative skills, fighting, calm under pressure, not easily intimidated. If there's one inconsistency with the case, even the tiniest possibility something is wrong, she will take it into account. Also, she's very good with technology and has inventive/modifying skills.
What are your character's weaknesses? Anti-social, not very trusting of people, and has an annoying independence streak sometimes if she finds other slacking (IE, doing the work herself/playing Guile Hero if necessary).
A basic rundown of your character's daily routine. What does he/she do when she's in the office? Wake up early, shower, chores, go to morning training, have a small breakfast, attend class, arrive one hour before work, read for said hour, work/do whatever needs to be done around the office, run any errands that need to be done and then complete any chores not done earlier, study/work on plans/work on blueprints, check alarm, retire for the evening.
Things you want to do with your character: She's currently injured still and I'm not sure what her status will be if/when this plot rolls around, but give her the information and she'll work it out quickly even if she has to stay up all night.
Things you don't want to happen to your character: No death
