Randominity

I haven't updated recently about my adventures on GW, but I've been doing some things. The night that I posted my poll, I ended up logging on with Neriah (lvl 20, E/N) in the hopes of snagging the last of my ascension missions, which is Thirsty River. Joining up with vandonovan, princessy, and a guildie and alliance friend, we did the other two ascension missions first, which princessy's character needed as well. We also got the bonus for Elona Reach, which surprised me since I still don't understand what that mission is all about, ahaha.

Then, just as we were getting ready to do Thirsty River, mosquiton logged in with her brand new Nightfall character \o/, and Van and I chose to drop out so that we could run around on the island with her so she could power level and not be lonely :). So, no ascension for Neriah that night, alas. Instead we spent a good four or so hours power-levelling Michi and watching her pick up everything with lightning speed and just generally be bad-ass. Also, with my lvl 20 Dervish it felt SO GOOD to dispatch mobs with ONE BLOW from my mighty scythe. Ahhh, power. *strokes it*

In other news, I ended up creating a new monk character named Kelis who is meant to be sort of my Nightfall doppleganger (corresponding with Nanashi, my Prophecies dopple). I have got her to level 9 and for 8 of those levels I hadn't died! That's a record for me. But alas, there just comes a point where one is going to be mobbed by beasties and one can't go on being a Survivor forever. Next time, next time! I have got a new set of monk armor and I really REALLY like it. It must be the newness of it or something. I get like that about shiny things.

With Nanashi (lvl 20, W/Mo), vandonovan and princessy and I went through and did her next mission in the Prophecies campaign, which was the Ice Caves of Sorrow. I cannot believe I still have like a dozen (okay, half a dozen?) missions left in this campaign. INSANITY. Next up I have to get my armor infused. I haven't even settled on what armor I want to use, yet! I like the Gladiator's armor okay, I guess, but the Elite Sunspear armor is kind of nicer? And that's not to mention the Vabbian (which I can't afford, but I DON'T CARE).

I haven't played Maree through the Nightfall campaign in ages. I still need to enlist help for the next mission. I'm SO CLOSE, I should just FINISH already! At least it would be one thing down :P.

Also-rans: My paragon, which is still level 7 or 8 or so, and my ranger, which is level 4 (and my last remaining Survivor! I'm afraid to play her, ahaha).

ETA: I totally forgot to mention the night I stayed up with princessy in an attempt to get Neriah through the Thirsty River mission yet again. We must have tried that mission six times over the course of four hours @_@;;. At the last attempt we nearly party-wiped twice (with princessy the only survivor, running around and rezzing us all to try again, god love'er), and finally met our match when we were on the LAST MOB, having FINALLY dispatched of the enemy priest, when our Ghostly Hero bought it. AUGH. SUCH FRUSTRATION. Ah well. Another time, I guess. *sobs* Neriah will live to be ascended one day!

(I can't even bear to think about getting Fairuza through the campaign, oh my god. Missions are just so much not fun! ahaha, sigh.)
