* Martha Jones (Doctor Who, New Skool): the main costume I thought I'd be preparing, except this means
* Zoe Herriot (Doctor Who, Old Skool): Since
* Varesh Ossa (Guild Wars): What can I say? I saw her costume and fell in love. However, upon reflection, her armor is far too elaborate for lame, cheap, not-really-a-cosplayer-only-play-one-on-TV me. I am nowhere near hardcore enough for her. *bows down*
* Dervish Cover Girl (Guild Wars): This one could be fun, though. I love the Elonian Armor, and hey! Cover Girl comes with a prop and a library of poses for picture-taking purposes! The hardest part of this would be, if I'm not having the whole thing commissioned, getting items in the exact same shade of turquoise. I just thought of this one last night and it kind of got me excited to try it, hahaha.
* Ace (Doctor Who, Old Skool): to
* Nyssa of Trakken (Doctor Who, Old Skool): I had at one point given serious thought to trying to cosplay Nyssa, since

Date: 2007-05-21 07:43 pm (UTC)As for things you need to know.... well, I guess I'd say have plenty of cash on hand in case you want to make an impulse buy, because if you wander through the dealer hall there is a JUNGLE of booths and merchandise and things and you'll be tempted to pick up a lot of things :). If you have better self-restraint, you might be more interested in attending the panels or screenings or whatever scheduled events are going on. Bring good walking shoes if you're going to the dealer's hall, though. You can easily spend a whole day in there gawking at stuff.
That's all the advice I've got. Good walking shoes, cash on hand, oh! and a camera! You'll see people wearing cool things you'll want to take pictures of :). Hope you have a great time!
