I'm enjoying House Season 2 and all (with certain reservations), but all of my episodes seem to cut off near the end, giving the impression that there may be another few seconds, or another line of dialogue, etc. before the file should end.

This is happening with both the files from the torrent I downloaded and the files I got from the episode community. They seem to use the same file versions. Did anybody else have this happen? It just seems so abrupt, when all the Season 1 files end after the credits. I always feel like I'm missing something at the end :/.

Give me an example of where they're cutting off? I can tell you if you're missing anything.

Okay, a really big example is at the end of The Mistake, after Cuddy assigns Foreman to be House's new boss. Cut to everyone's reaction shot. And it cuts off right after the camera cuts to Cuddy. I'm like, "uh, isn't that kind of sudden? You mean nobody said anything after that? There was no closing banter? No pull-away shot?"

Are there better files available somewhere? Hahaha, it just seems so weird.

Hmmm. You know, I can't remember. *grabs DVD*

While I'm waiting for it to load, are you coming to Comic-Con this year?

Okay - yeah, there is more to it than just a cut to Cuddy. It's only about 5 extra seconds (Wilson gestures toward Foreman and says, "Guess I'm his best friend, now.") but it's weird that it'd get cut off.

I don't know where to get complete versions other than where you got the ones you have. You can ask me about any episodes where you think you've missed something, though!

No, sorry, I've canceled my Comic-Con plans for this year. -_-;

That really IS weird about the files. And there are glitches in a couple other episodes as well, little skips and things that don't seem to miss any dialogue, but are still distracting. Maybe I should get the hi-def versions and see if they're any better. Or suck it up and get the DVDs, hahaha.

Woe. :(

The HD versions are the ones I have for S3 and they're awesome, so that might be a good idea. Or you could just get the DVDs, haha. :-) I bought both DVD sets on the strength of the five episodes I saw of S2, when I first got into House. And then I just marathoned the whole thing in one go.

I'm not crazy! No, really!
