Well last night was a bit disturbing. On the way home from choir (and on our way to a Firefly viewing - BTW, omg yay to Sci-Fi Network showing three episodes back-to-back! [insanejournal.com profile] sydney_blue missed out on Jaynestown but did get to see Out of Gas and Ariel thanks to Sci-Fi *g*), there was a massive car accident on the 55. We had just passed the last exit before our own when [insanejournal.com profile] maria_kazuar said, "is that fire?" and sure enough, there were huge billowing black plumes of smoke coming from just ahead of our exit, and two cars very, very much on fire. After spending about an hour parked on the freeway while two fire trucks, two CHP cruisers, and an ambulance whizzed by, we finally got to pass the two completely burned out wrecks to get home again. That the ambulance never left the scene of the accident is not a detail I wish to consider overmuch.

By this time we really could have used the distraction, so we watched War Stories at [insanejournal.com profile] maria_kazuar's place while playing with her cat. The tortured!Mal thing went over well, and as for myself, I just kept remembering things from Alan's and Nathan's audio commentary and snickering to myself.

Tonight, we'll... I don't actually remember if we had any plans. Boy, I really wish I could write, though.

(ETA: WHY is my computer's time all screwed up?!)
