Memo to
vandonovan:
STOP BEING SO GORRAM PRODUCTIVE OMG!
In other news, I have completed my Firefly indoctrination of my parents as of last night. We watched Heart of Gold yesterday morning (even dad watched, and surprisingly? they both loved it. ugh.) and Objects In Space last night, and then I whipped out my bootleg of Serenity the Movie (since my DVD hasn't arrived yet, grrrr).
It took them a while to get into the movie, I think, and going right from the series to the movie drove home for me how very different the feel is between the two. But by the end mom was pretty rapt. (hee!)
Then we watched some Nathan and Some Other People! *grin*
This morning we are trying to decide on a church to go to for Christmas services. Catholic, Episcopalian, or Unitarian? You only get to choose once a year, arrrr.....
ETA: Church plans have gone SNAFU, as they are likely to do when one introduces parents and religious animosity to the mix. Ah well, we are going to the beach instead.
And in case anyone was wondering, for Christmas I got a dining room set, bookshelf, coffee and end tables. They'll be delivered on Monday. \o/
