I have a couple of feeds I read for cool people who have Blogger blogs. However, every so often I will reconsider this situation and think of removing them from my flist. Those times are whenever somebody updates their Blogger and REPUBLISHES THEIR BLOG. Argh, omg, people. The sad thing is that this is such an innocuous option when you go to update. Oh, sure, why not republish, it's not hurting anything. Yeah, unless you have an LJ feed (I don't know about other feeds). Then you're reading your flist and you're like "wow, bob sure updated a lot today! ... wait, isn't this entry from February? And... isn't this his Christmas entry? WTF? *scrolls to skip=80* WTF?!"

Of course the Bloggers who do this don't know that this is what happens *coughKateHewlettcough* (and she's not the only one). But I feel like in this age of RSS feeds there should be a warning Blogger gives, right next to that "republish button". Something like "Warning: this can cause duplicate posts for people reading your entries on an RSS-feed." Even if they don't know what an RSS feed is, they understand that duplicate posts are bad, right? Hahahaha. Anyway.

This entry has been brought to you by skip=40.
