randominityOkay, I wasn't going to do this just yet, especially not today. I was going to slowly try to migrate some stuff, examine my options, replace a link here and there, etc.
But Hogwarts Today just went on hiatus until further notice in light of the whole LJ cracking down on fanartists thing, and I'm.... I think that's the last straw for me. It's kind of driven everything home.
My paid account and extra userpics both expire in October, and I won't be renewing them. I'm moving to InsaneJournal full-time as soon as I have everything together. (And yes, I know I'm not "safe" there, either, but in the words of a young animated Aladdin - gotta keep one jump ahead of the lawmen, etc.)
I'm sorry to all those who have opted to stay with LJ, whether it's because you have permanent accounts or whatever other reason - it's all valid - but I can't in good conscience give them any more of my money, and I won't post with a crippled (free, 15 or however many userpics) account. I'll miss you!
I'll be changing the links to my fics as quickly as I can, starting with my horribly illegal underaged slash, and working my way through the rest. I'll be duplicating the posts I've made over the past few months and I'll do my best to cross-post until my paid services expire.
