Randominity

I've often made sad noises about the fact that despite being pretty equal-opportunity on whether I ogle men or women in my real life, my celebrity crush harem is exclusively composed of men. I've tried to figure it out, and the only thing I can suggest is that there aren't enough sufficiently geeky girl-next-door types who tend to "make it" in TV or film. There are a lot of actresses I think are nice to look at, but the number of them about whom I'd want to read an interview or seek additional media on is very low.

There was Fergie, who spawned an obsession with the Royal Family for the duration of her marriage (I even bought her book! *purrr*), Helena Bonham Carter to whom I owe my fascination with the Tudors (and okay, I have a crush on Jane Grey as well ;)). There was DeeDee Magno and a two-week stint with each of Claire Danes and Natalie Portman following Romeo+Juliet and The Phantom Menace, respectively. And yet none of those really fit my geek-girl theory, or any really common attributes at all, actually.

Since then..... eh. It's pretty much been boybands, LOTRPS (I tried, Liv!), HP, and SGA, hahaha.

So why did I just make a folder of Lindsey Alley photos after stalking her website last night?
