Randominity

Weirdly, there were no more crashes when I logged on this evening around 8:30pm. NONE. I will never understand this game/computer.

Anyway, due to the no crashes thing, and some fortuitous timing, I got a rather lot accomplished! I got run to all the desert locations with Neriah, AND got Elona Reach/Thirsty River runs + bonus for cheap, then did the Dunes of Despair mission all by myself (which I don't think I had a good build for, because it was kind of harder than I remember it - even with Fairuza just a week or so ago).

Then I ascended after losing to my doppleganger some three times - just eeked through with a few more hp in the end. The reward dialogue said I only earned 1,000xp plus 1,000xp for the bonus, so there must be some mixup somewhere, because I don't know what my xp was before and therefore can't verify if I actually got my deserved 51,000xp or not (ETA: according to the GuildWiki, you don't get the 50,000 if you've done the Sunspear Outpost quests in Nightfall. :( :( :( :( :(!). Also, when did they change the doppleganger bonus so that you only have to defeat it in under TEN MINUTES? I know it was 50 seconds before, man.

So! having ascended (yay!) I went on to do the first attribute quest and a change profession quest. Then on to Dragon's Lair (since I didn't get a Drok's run with this character and so don't have it mapped). Dragon's Lair was easy peasy as always, and then.... I tried to take on Glint, as I always do. AND I SUCCEEDED o_O!!! I know it must be because I took along Jin with Distracting Shot and Disrupting... Arrow? Or something? But she was only level 16! It just didn't seem like it would work, but it did, and I'm so shocked and pleased. Neriah is really kicking ass and taking names this time around. Soloing the Sunspears in Kryta mission at level 14... completing the Villainy of Galrath.... now this....? I think she's earned herself a prestige armor and the honor of being the first to go to EotN, a few times over. \o/

So tomorrow I think I'll take it easy: just do her second attribute quest, which will even her up with Fairuza for just needing armor infusion. Maybe I'll go back and start doing skill quests and stuff, although I mostly skipped the ones which gave skills I wasn't interested in :P.

Lordy, playing my elementalist is fun! Also, I got complimented on my armor today. Considering it's just the 1.5k version, it made me happy :).
