Randominity

This week:

* I put a ton of elastic bands on my braids because every time I washed my hair, half of them were unravelling 3/4 up the shaft and it was getting annoying. Then when I washed my hair again, half of the elastic bands came out. Sigh. Oh, and it's been 3.5 weeks with the braids in.

* I have been watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and really really enjoying it. Not in a fandom/fanficcy sense, but just for enjoyment's sake. I think both Kira and Dax are SMOKIN' HOT. And I heart Odo and Quark. I'm up to S1 episode 8 or so now and can't wait to see more.

* Looking forward to seeing The Golden Compass this Saturday with the Nerd King. I have about 30 pages left in the book and it's been very exciting. I'm curious as to what changes will be made for the movie and may just be inspired to post a review here when I've finally finished the book and seen the movie.

* I think my vision in my right eye is flagging a little bit. I've had astigmatism in that eye for some time now and I feel like it's getting just a smidge worse post-LASIK. Not badly enough to warrant getting glasses again, but enough that I notice. I hope it doesn't get any worse than this.

* I have $20.56 in my bank account to last me until next payday (Dec. 14).

* Last night the Nerd King took my hands in his and very seriously said, "if I may be so bold, I think I'm falling in love with you."

* In response, I said "woo hoo!" Not "aww, how sweet!" or "I feel the same!" or even "me too!" but "woo hoo!" I am so lame.

* I haven't gamed all week and I feel horribly out of practice. I have Bonus Missions to complete in Guild Wars and I haven't even logged on! I just haven't had the time, really. I've been wanting to read The Golden Compass and I've had my apartment to clean and I've been going out and etc. etc. etc. But I really do have to find some time to get some playing in. I kind of miss it.

* I have a virtual pet dog game that I'm playing on my iPhone. I also had a Tamagotchi back in the day. I'm such a sucker for these things.

* I'm really annoyed by winter here in SoCal. I'm annoyed by how cold it gets in my apartment at nights, requiring me to turn on the heat, but then during the day it heats up so that it's room-temperature-ish, and then gets cold again immediately after sunset. I hate that there is no one way to dress for the temperature fluctuations. Either I'm hot inside and cold outside, or cold inside and hot outside. (or hot then cold in my car, or cold then hot in my car, etc.)

* I can't find my lip gloss. This is a thing of TRAGEDY. My naked lips are SO DRY OMG.

* 'M really tired for some reassszzzz.......
