Lordy, but the rabid H/Hr 'shippers irritate the hell outta me. I think I'll need to avoid the TLC comment boards until after the HBP release when this is settled for once and for all.
What I don't understand most about the rabid H/Hr shippers is the fact that when asked about it, JKR HERSELF said pretty much the equivalent of, "WTF crack are you guys on" and then something about, "oh, I thought I made it obvious who Hermione was in love with..." o.o
Oh, but that's proof, didn't you know? Because it's obvious Harry's in love with Hermione. Also, Ron is white trash and immature and Hermione's long gotten over him and he's not good enough for her, anyway. Oh, and that bit where JRK said that Harry and Hermione had a platonic friendship? Subterfudge!!!
(arg, I'm not even a R/Hr 'shipper and I still get all annoyed. Don't go around marginalizing my favorite character to make your crazy 'ship work, yo. LOL)
Stupid shippers. I just can't wait to see if any of them apologize for their insanity. Or if they all go "Yeah, I was R/Hr all along!" just to save face. They just... grrr...
I have seen some comment that they'd stop reading the series if H/Hr doesn't happen -- but I'm hoping the ones who say that are only the crazy fringe fans! I doubt any will say they were secretly rooting for R/Hr, though. I almost want to become an R/Hr 'shipper just to spite them.
