Feb. 10th, 2024 09:11 amWhile sitting here drinking some coffee on a morning that started way too early, I decided I missed the old-school journaling experience. I had LJ back in the early 2000s, and was on DW for a while years ago but left because the contents of my journal and most of the connections I made had to do with a version of myself that no longer existed. I'm so glad to see this corner of the internet is still alive and kicking. This place will be a mix of life stuff and fan musings.
My partner and I are currently re-watching TNG from start to finish. I saw most of TNG as a kid when it was on the air and in my college years on SciFi channel reruns, so needless to say this is long overdue. We finished "Angel One" (season 1, episode 14). I hadn't seen this one previously, god it was every cliche and cringe Star Trek trope in one episode. I get they were trying to illustrate a point showing a highly sexist society but it was done so poorly. It wasn't as painful as "Code of Honor" which I did vaguely remember watching at some point but it's right up there with it. Ugh it was awful.
As a Star Trek fan I struggle with the amount of content. I still need to finish watching Discovery before the next season of Strange New Worlds drops. I know there are several episodes of the original series I haven't seen, but honestly TNG and Voyager were what made me a Star Trek fan. I haven't touched the novels yet either.

Date: 2024-02-11 08:45 pm (UTC)I'm definitely a fan of BG3! I'm trying to finish my "good" play through as a Seldarine Drow Oathbreaker Paladin, currently in Act III. (started as Oath of the Ancients, I paid penance for breaking my oath accidentally twice and decided to just be an Oathbreaker after that). I've tried a couple of other builds but hadn't gotten far in the gameplay yet with those. What kind of build are you trying out?

i never really though to play like that actually, maybe ill try that next playthrough : 0
