calling all dreamweavers
Hello!
While poking around the CR Meme and talking to people, I noticed we have a pretty good group of dreamwalkers/dream-powered folks.
So I would love to:
A.) Get a headcount!
B.) Make some plans to do a dreamwalker mingling log after this current event is over, maybe around the beginning of October.
If you're interested, please leave a comment here and tell us a little bit about your dreamwalker, and any plans you might have, if you have any. The log will be open to both, whether you have something specific in mind or just want to say HELLO and gather some CR in the dreamworld.

Since she is no longer in that city, where dreams were just out in the open to be touched, her magic is a little bit more targeted, in that she can manipulate a certain person's dreams. It helps tremendously for her to have a personal object from the person, but not strictly necessary. Anyone else in her family would definitely need the personal link, but this is Eden's specialty. She can cause waking nightmares, if she's feeling super bitchy, but that takes her a lot more work.
She's generally in the business of hurting and manipulating people, but she does also like to... 'sight-see' other people's dreams.

In his canon he founded an order of sorcerers called Dreamweavers. They specialise in healing, which means healing magic but also means dream healing. Essentially they can enter people's dreams and help them to take control of nightmares and get past the issues that cause those nightmares to happen - so helping to heal their minds, so to speak.
Mirar enters a dream trance, which is kind of like a form of meditation, and he can send his mind out to enter others. If he reaches out to a person and they answer, they can enter into a link with him and can converse and are fully aware of what's happening. They don't need to be a magic user themselves for this, his magic will form the link. However if they don't answer, he can still enter a sleeping mind and observe their dreams, and introduce new elements by suggestion. Think of it like, magical subliminal messaging. When he was young in canon he got in trouble because of doing that, and the practice was made illegal, which he didn't care very much about. He would be far more careful about it now because he essentially learned his lesson in canon, but he'd do it to say, give someone important information if he thought they were in trouble.
I haven't made much use of these abilities yet in game, but I'd very much like to! So yes I'm definitely down for a mingling log, count him in!

But Auraya has the same abilities as Mirar when it comes to dreams! There's also dreamlinking where you can meet in dreams for conversations and also to share memories (which dreamweavers use to sort out their memories from the mass of memories they take on when dreamlinking with people for healing purposes and conversations).
I'd love to do something with this!
