TRAINING (OPEN TO ALL)

WHAT. this club is basically a place for your character to get better or at least have a chance against someone, or something, around zelien. anyone who would like to have their characters involved in the training part would be welcome to come. this isn't really resistance-specific, except just a general thing where anyone even outside of it could come. i think the only rule the trainers would enforce is to not be a dick. that's another point: no specific trainers, and each one would specialize on different aspects of fighting. for example, wes can do firearms. chief can do something else. etcetera. the way we're playing it is that wes had had this idea with wade wilson (deadpool) long ago when he's around, and chief's expressed this desire to train people icly a couple of posts ago, and they had a sort-of agreement after that. (note: just because i'm writing this mean that i'm a ring leader, i'm just laying out a playing field for anyone interested to have their characters participate icly. a couple of ..... weeks, years? ago, in my talking with a lot of people oocly a common theme that i've noted are mentor-relationships, wherein one character teaches another skill that's usually combat-related. this is basically an umbrella thing where all of those are consolidated in one place and icly characters can choose different trainers - depending on how many volunteer - for different kinds of skills.) WHEN & WHERE. the number of trainers will depend on how many people actively sign up and can be divided into x amount of teams under x amount of leaders (and seriously, we'd like to have trainers). this isn't a permanent thing, icly characters can defs stop walking in the club whenever they feel like it. location for zelien is in one of the classrooms (icly there'll be signs) and then in the field. med team's gonna be in the rec room with rory. characters can choose to learn what they want from whichever trainer, although for obvious reasons we'd prefer not to overload one trainer too much with too many characters to train icly in one go. ARMORY & MEDICAL. starting this phase, we're gonna have someone teach characters medical, or any sort of first aid thing if your character's not battle-oriented. so far we have rory volunteering, but more people are always welcome to come in. chief runs the armory out of a ~*~secret room~*~ (it's not that hard to find)that provides students and teachers weaponry as well as a weapons store in case cultists come. weapons are obtained through raids and through donations. library system is in place, so send him an ic text and he'll deliver the goods. you get one ic week with the weapons before he hunts you down and takes it back. you're welcome to steal, barter, try to kill people or do whatever, but keep in mind that chief excels in this stuff and is sort of a sociopath and will attempt to execute you on sight. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED .... fantastic! for new sign ups, just reply to this post under the proper links so that we can add them to the rosters. icly there is also a sign up for workouts with the chief in that post. you can mix and match your own students or you can be matched with someone, should you want. matching works rather simply, really: out of all of the people who are assigned, someone else who might be a good match for your character is picked from the teachers. HERE is an example of that in action. work out with your new partner/handwave parts of it if you want. with the droop of wesley (:(), it's left a huge vacancy icly for the master chief to fill. however, the guy is a recluse that doesn't talk to people apart from military stuff and he doesn't like to have his voice or face or really any communication with civilians. which is where you come in!!

oocly, the administrative stuff is quite easy. i've just been busy moving back to get the rosters and everything set up properly in the journal (but there is a rough list present for people!). icly, it's just a little too much work for me to handle since it used to be two people doing this every other month.
