So it appeared this community needed someone to guide them, huh? Then why not have someone with enough political know-how to actually get the job done? It didn't seem to take much to make waves on this island, and who knows? Once things are up and running, this place might be worth living in. The political landscape wasn't exactly what he'd imagined. Men, women, children, monsters, aliens. They came in every shape and size, from every creed possibly imaginable, and even some that Hundred couldn't possibly begin to.

From the moment he'd announced candidacy, he'd gone door-to-door, getting the name of the former mayor of New York out there. He'd impressed many, and it was barely more than a week before his constituents were setting up a campaign headquarters in a public building. Weeks later, he was hot on the campaign trail, and one of the major names on the island. People were milling in and out of his offices, making calls, going to any residence they could locate, setting up meetings, press conferences, anything they could get their hands on in order to to further his cause.

He had forgotten just how much of a nightmare this all was.

It was late in the day when he decided to call a break for himself. Ordering those around him not to bother him unless necessary, he retreated to his private office and shut the door behind him. "Shades close." The machine in question obediently followed his command, and the bright light streaming into his windows dimmed to nothingness. Sighing, he sat down on the floor in a meditative position and closed his eyes, cutting himself off at the conscious level to the world.

OOC: So I'm trying to kick things off in this community. This is Mitchell Hundred from the comic series Ex Machina. He's the former mayor of New York, also once known as being the vigilante the Great Machine. He has the ability to talk to and manipulate any machine. Anyone is welcome to post to this for CR or smut. I'm open to nearly any kink, but if you feel like it might be an issue, bring it up.
