Today's emotional weather: up and down.
Weird dreams, involving attempted assassination of a blonde novice by various and sundry thugs, and Mark Aaron James telling me about a show he went to starring a teenaged rock-star-wannabe (about fourteen years old). My dreams are often quite detailed, and these were no exceptions: strands of straight blonde hair getting caught in a necklace, the glint of knives being pulled from sheaths, and the soft sounds they made; the head on our pints of Guinness as Mark and I drank them, and the feeling of the tan foamy moustache....
Meanwhile, Soren is suffering both from the sickness and the effects of the tussin, and is sleeping heavily; I've loaded my Pelikan 200 (extra-fine nib) with the Private Reserve Sherwood Green, and concluded that it's a brighter green than I had hoped for -- I may have to try mixing it with the Gray Flannel, and see if I can get a darker green; Mark Aaron James did send an email about upcoming gigs; it is a mistake to lick the spoon that you've just used to scoop out Chinese chile paste with -- BUT I'M AWAKE! (this would not be as embarrassing, had it not been the second time I've done so in two days, and the fourth time I've done something similar in two weeks, the other two times being with extra-strength horseradish); and I need to clean the shower.
Situation normal: surreal.
