I'm the Hero of This Story
CHARACTERS: Jo (
afraidomymother) and OPEN
DATE: May 9 (day 43)
RATING: PG 13
SUMMARY: Jo's healing and wandering through the place. TOTALLY CR BAITING.
[She'd found a walking stick of sorts and with her side bandaged up nicely, Jo needed to get out of her room. Slowly she'd made it out of the dorm and headed out. First to the hospital. It was falling a part, but she needed to see if she could scavenge anything.
Next was to the training facility, not that she could work out, but she wanted to know more about the people here, the creatures here. Her knife was tucked safely away though she didn't carry the shotgun around.
Jo found herself next at the outskirts of the forest. She wasn't going to go in, not in her condition. But it was interesting. She wondered what exactly was in there and if anyone had figured it out.
Lastly she headed towards the merchants themselves. Not to barter, but it seemed like it was the place to be. It was buzzing and people seemed to be wagering plenty for what they sought. Jo had enough protection and she wasn't picky. For now she was okay.]
ooc: feel free to run into her anywhere. just say where.

Aren't you hurt? [Basically a "why are you walking around like that" question.]

They sound off, not quite entirely even. She wonders if perhaps someone injured is nearby. Not wanting to run into the owner of these mysterious footsteps, she stops rolling her chair forward and asks-]
Hello? Is someone there?

It's okay... I was just leaving. [She calls back.]

[she knows she has no right to pry into this woman's business.. but her voice is one she hasn't heard before, and she feels curious]

I'd keep my distance if I were you. It's quiet in here now but that's not something I'd be willing to bet on lasting.

It never does.
