I got this from [livejournal.com profile] aubrem. She didn't tag me in her draconian, compulsory fashion, but I feel like doing it anyway! Ten fictional people with whom I would have sex:

1. Stephen Maturin--but only after he has a bath
2. Severus Snape--ditto
3. Amit Chatterji (from A Suitable Boy. Other characters are sexier--Maan Kapoor!--but he's the one I love.)
4. Lancelot (from The Once and Future King)
5. Barrett Bonden (from Aubrey Maturin series)
6. Diana Villiers (from Aubrey-Maturin series, even though she might insist on wearing her riding habit and bringing her riding crop to bed)
7. Isabel LaMotte (Possession--she knows what she's doing)
8. Edward Rochester
9. Faramir, 'cause he's the nice, thoughtful brother
10. Li Mu Bai from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Or really, anyone from that movie, because, hello, and I know you know what I mean if you've seen it.)

Can they be gay?

1. Snape - the fanon one, not the canon one who is not very nice.
2. Lupin
3. Han Solo
4. Indiana Jones
5. Indiana Jones' Father :)
6. The Ninth Doctor
7. The Tenth Doctor
8. Captain Jack Harkness (in a New York minute)
9. Jack Twist
10. Strider/Aragorn

That was quick! You've clearly thought this through!

Not entirely, though, because unless she kicks Snape out very quickly afterward he might run into Lupin in the hall and further plans might be thwarted. *smile* M.

Nah, I had to stop myself - could go on....

Illya Kuryakin
Matthew Quigley (after a bath)
Phil Allen
Col. Brandon
Rasputin
Casanova (David Tennant, not Heath Ledger)
Dr. Wilson
Remington Steele
Nick Ratcliffe (hero in "The Way of an Eagle" by EM Dell 1910)
Virgil Hilts (OK, he wasn't fictional, but the one in the movie)

I can't help it, I'm a slut.

You have a crush on a Shakespearean gender-bending heroine. That's just too adorable.

Adorable or too-geeky-for-words? I'll settle for adorable.
Plus, Rosalind? Kicks arse. I love her.

Hee! Am I terribly uptight if I think everyone is a more palatable proposition after a bath? M.

I was going to comment along the lines of "but you could help them have a bath" and then got distracted by composing my own list.

Of course they are! But especially these two, who in canon are frequently described as neglecting their hygiene.

You know, I can never remember where it says Snape neglects his hygiene. Yes, his hair's greasy (but that's from potion fumes); his teeth are yellow (but mine are too, and I brush at least twice a day - it's just the way they're made); his undies were gray, but that's because the colours ran in the wash ... have I missed something?

(And yes, it's a long time since I've read canon. ;-) )

We actually don't know whether Snape has poor hygiene or not. We have to speculate on the reason his hair appears greasy. I prefer to think it is because of his high testosterone levels, which will make his libido something to equal mine. And so, we jump into the shower together and work up a lather!

Oh yes. I love those stories where Harry and Severus bathe together, and Harry gets out the herbal shampoo ...

Cluegirl just did a version in Everybody's Fool in which it's Harry, not Snape, who doesn't know about shampoo. He has the habit of washing his hair with soap because the Dursleys didn't give him shampoo. I thought that was genius.

Which is now complete!

And yes, that was a clever twist on the norm, wasn't it? That's why Harry's hair's always such a mess. LOL.

Harry never mentions either body order or bad breath, and given the way Harry feels about Snape, I imagine he would if they were there. So. He may not have a hygiene issue.

Yes, I think it's more of a fanon thing now. But people have fun with it, and as long as it's Harry helping him wash his hair, I'm not complaining too much. ;-)

what do you mean "even if"! That should be "especially if" *drools*

Faramir, 'cause he's the nice, thoughtful brother
I had such a crush on him when I was 12. Proof that, occasionnaly I can like the nice guy ^^

Or really, anyone from that movie, because, hello
The Mongol guy (Cloud something?) is so hot on a visceral level that has nothing to do with his characters, gah.
I would so do Michelle Yeoh in that movie. She kicks ass and she's the character who behaves with the most grace all through.

It really would be an "especially if" wouldn't it. I do like that idea.

Oh, yes, Michelle Yeoh in that movie, the Mongol bandit, the young crazy girl--when she gets all sweaty--but especially Li Mu Bai. Geez I should watch that movie again! I own the DVD somewhere in the house.

Next time you need to beg more prettily. : )

You know, Diana Villiers, *with* riding crop, would be one of the few women who could entice me into bed. : )

She's pretty cute. That combination of teeny tiny feminine person with outsized, commanding butch personality is a winner.

Hang on -- in Middle Earth you want the nice, thoughtful brother, but in the Potterverse you go for Snape? This has to Mean Something.
