gacked from [livejournal.com profile] bethbethbeth:

Rec-Go-Round: Rec me one story you've written that you're proud of, any genre, here on my LJ.

Then go forth and ask the same in yours.

Don't worry about whether I've already read it. It's fun to think about which fic you wrote that you actually like. Or if you have trouble with that, rec a fic the way you wish someone else would rec it.

Or a piece of artwork! Yeah! Art recs rock!

Okay, one I like that I wrote? I don't know if you've read this or not.

The Pet

I'll have to think about the art; most of my art's not up online. Does it have to be Potter Art?

I have read that story and it really freaked me out! It's very dark. I don't think I realized that you wrote it, as I first found it by using the random archive entry button on the Moonshadow archive. Whoa!

You can rec any art you like.

That is one of the few stories I'm *really* proud of; it took lots of work and I kept slipping into the wrong pronoun. It's also the darkest thing I've ever written...

The worst part wasn't Snape torturing the evil boys, but having to hear Remus whimpering as he hid, hid, behind the legs of a 5th year (or so). The poor beast.

I'll do the art as a separate comment, if that's okay.

Okay, Art Stuff.

These are the two main characters for a story I've been working on for a while. It's an original, and as you can see, not set on Earth. Quite.

Mat

Stuart

I've the story all plotted out... but I want to do it as a comic and I'm pants at sequential art. *sob*

Wow, an invitation to self pimping - in a way. But I like the idea to get some recs from the people on my f-list, what they consider something to be proud of and why, so I'm in the game. :-)

Okaaaay... *thinks hard*

I started writing fan fiction around last year in November, so there is not that much to choose from. ;-) I'm not sure if you read this one:

I'm proud of "The Good, the Bad and the Celebrity Fool". I had this idea that one important duel of HP could take place at Celebrity Death Match. And I wondered how Muggles would react to the show. I suspected they would not realise what was going on. I thought I would never be able to write it myself. But the idea kind of developed and things just fell into place. I never had a theory about Horcuxes, it just happened to fit. *shrugs*
