Nonononono! Not cheap and tawdry at all!

Er. And this would be a good segue to a burning question on my mind:

do you want plot, or would PWP do just as well?

... just asking ...

PWP would do just as well. Though frankly, I've never known you to write anything without a bit of plot. Heh.

I thought it would be a fun meme, until i realized how little I like anyone famous born on my birthday. Ick.

My son shares his birthday with Gertrude Stein. Now that's cool.

haha, I didn't know most people who shared my birthday. But Ronsart, which is cool, and Moby which is okay.

I don't know who's Gertrude Stein (is shamefully ignorant)

Really? She was a famous modernist writer, a Jewish lesbian who lived most of her adult life in Paris. My husband was going to write his doctoral dissertation on her impact on American poetry, but has decided to bag graduate school. I've read a lot of her work. Probably her most famous book was The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas. Toklas was her partner. Stein wrote the entire book in Alice's voice. It was funny.

A lot of what she wrote was hard to understand, experimental.
