Meme: Fandom Five Things

schemingreaderI just read Rexluscus' Top Fannish Five Meme entry, and now I want to do it. So if you are around this week, ask me five fandom questions, and I'll answer them.
I was honored that Rex mentioned two of my crazier projects in her meme responses. She and I figured out that my Snarry in Spenserian stanzas is technically an epyllion--a short erotic mock-epic. (Isn't that such a beautiful word? It's really beautiful. Epyllion. Wouldn't you like to see Maira Kalman illustrate that word?)
It pays to be friends with people who know literature.
Except now she and Stasia are suggesting that perhaps I should write a fic in rime royal. It's a slippery slope, you guys. It's very tempting to get out the rhyming dictionary and look up more rhymes for "penis." I am thinking about it though.
If I post this correctly, you should be able to post comments to LJ again. I think the DDOS attacks are letting up--but if you have trouble, you should also see a link to the DW post. The only problem is, if there is a denial of service attack, you can't use your LJ account to log in to DW with OpenID. In that case, send me a telegram.
