and Happy Mother's Day to you, too
May. 14th, 2006 09:06 pmSo, if you read my real life post from last night, you noticed that I spent Saturday from 4:30 AM on dealing with my sick child.
Today we set out for a wedding, and--so predictable--I caught the stomach bug. Whatever it was. I feel horrible. I'm queasy, my stomach is cramping, I have chills...
We left the wedding early. It was 2.5 hours away by car. I spent the entire afternoon watching my husband and son eat snacks in a closed car. Just thinking about it makes me want to hurl.
So if you were looking for me to do my typical fast turnaround on beta reading or really on anything--so sorry.

Date: 2006-05-15 01:13 am (UTC)I'll send thoughts of chicken soup and soothing things for the child.
I'd send real chicken soup, but I'm afraid that it would spill on the way.
I hope you feel better soon.
Get some rest, if you can.
