I IM'ed with etrangere today and showed her a very dramatic scene from Chapter Five of The Heart's Obligations. It's finally, finally taking off again!

It was etrangere who first introduced me to the portmanteau word "flangst" (for fluffy angst) which she told me that I write. This chapter definitely has a lot of flangst.

I tend to write:

flangst = fluffy angst
wangst = wanky angst
Prankst = angsty fics about the Prank Sirius played on Severus and Remus in sixth year
Prongst = angsty fics featuring James Potter

and now, also

Tonkst = angsty fics about Tonks.

I am unreasonably pleased with myself for getting back into writing this WiP. Of course I was doing it between cooking for Shabbat and responding to the persistent noodging of my 3.5 year old. Who is, even as we speak, tugging my shirt and saying "come in the bedroom with me and read this book!" repeatedly.
