Title: Wedding Reception
Word Count: 100
“Don’t be such an arse, Severus. I am not scared.”
Snape smirked; he’d won already.
“Alright, is this a dare? What will you do if I follow through?”
“I don’t promise anything, Lupin. You must act to preserve your self-respect or not at all.”
“Manipulative bastard,” Remus smiled grimly. He tapped his glass with a teaspoon, and the revelers quieted.
“A toast,” he said, without clearing his throat. “To Harry and Ginny: may you be as well-suited to one another as Severus and I are. Congratulations!”
Two hundred pairs of widened eyes stared back over the rim of his wineglass.

Date: 2006-11-09 02:57 am (UTC)I just looked up its history. Hmmm. Apparently it's quite a new word. I see it around a lot, though, especially in popular culture in the UK. Londoners go, "Alwight, love?" when they're trying to chat you up. Yuk!
Oh, yeah, the drabble. "Well-suited"? They'll be murdering each other within a year. Ha ha! Lovely fic. Yup, cross-post.

I think this one works well with the one that starts with Severus saying he's not scared. Then you understand who they are to each other.
