Happy yuletide season, Anon! Hope your writing session is enjoyable and and goes by as stress free as possible
If you want to see anything about me, here's a link to my tumblr, though I don't know what impression it gives off other than me being a weird tumblr old.
Here are some more generalized things I vibe with, hopefully something here works for you.
General things I love in fic: deep dives into character POVs, moody atmospheric world building, leaning into unhinged vibes from canon, and character voices or author voices that feel talky and specific.
Things I Don't really go for: crack or extreme silliness if it isn't in canon, acquisition of children, short pieces you might tag 'tooth rotting fluff'.
Fandom specific thoughts for my Requests:
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 :My two favourite characters in this game are Lune then Clea- I'd love to read about one of them -your pick. And if you somehow make them interact? Also sounds amazing.
Lune is such an amazing complicated character and I love her utterly. She's so dedicated and purpose driven.Eyes on the prize like nobody else. She's so unfazed about the suicide mission she's on.But she's so curious about the world and seems to find a lot of joy and beauty in the different continent landscapes. She must have spent time with her guitar to get so good at it, so there's some artistic part of her soul she hadn't put aside to focus on expedition prep. She's opening up to people- Sciel, Verso- while she's on the expedition, maybe because she's fulfilling her purpose she can can start seeing the world around her. It's like she's spending her last year coming to peace with herself. Lune being the one to confront Sirene feels like it could be read in a few different ways that all reveal different sides to her. And in Verso's ending, that final look of hers is so fitting as she sits. Any kind of character exploration of Lune would be awesome to see explored.
But also. Clea. My queen. Eldest daughter. Monster Mother. Unsentimental. Loves to create weird scary monsters that clearly started when she was a kid. Full of so much rage that she expresses so artistically. She wants revenge for her brother, and also needs her parents to get their act together. We get her character in bits and pieces- through the Fading Woman, moments when we encounter her in the 'real world', through how Simon and the pale Nevrons talk about her. But also how Verso and the young boy remembers her. We hear that she made Lampmaster to scare little Verso out for dinner, but both versions of Verso seem to have so much love for their older sister, you can imagine Clea got up to older sibling shenanigans that they both enjoyed. Clea clearly wants to avenge Verso's death, but also does spend time Reacting to Aline in the canvas because she clearly isn't going to let any of that slide. Everything we learn about Clea in bits and pieces is fascinating. If you're interested in any kind of Clea exploration, I'd love to see it! Clea on her revenge quest. Clea Dealing with her mother's painted!Clea creation. Clea creating all the Nevrons and pitfalls in the canvas. Clea and Verso's relationship at any age over the years. Clea growing up. Clea overcoming her own grief over her brother's death. Clea's relationship to art.
(Verso and Renoir round out my list of favourite characters, with everyone else tied for 2nd place. If you'd like to bounce one of the characters off someone other than the ones I nominated, to explore the dynamics, that'd also be fun!)

Vintner's Luck:I haven't forgotten this book in the decades since I've first read it, have revisited, and the setup is so delicious it's seared in my memory. The mysterious once-a year meeting for years, Jodeau becoming attached to what he thinks is a heavenly creature only to find out Xas is the opposite. The period of time Jodeau struggles with his fear of damnation. The epic romance of it all. Since there's so little fic of this book, if you have matched on this request, I'd be happy with the different avenues you could take. Perhaps you could explore one of those meetings they had over the years. Or Jodeau on his own, contemplating a prior encounter and looking forward to his next one. What was that period like for Jodeau when he thought his relationship with Xas damnned him? Why does Xas keep returning? I'd love to get a character piece exploring them, individually and together.

Slay the Princess: The vibes of this game are immaculate, and if you already have something you're looking to explore, I'd love to see it!
One aspect of this story I really love is the cyclical nature of it. Sort of like Samsara. There's 'life', death, then rebirth over again, except for the rare chances to break the pattern and create something new. The Hero and Princess in 'this' world unaware of the grand Truths but still meeting and righting over and over again. That aspect being the embodiment of it Goddess, and how the Long Quiet is inherently her cosmic foil, and how they're bound together.
We don't know very much about the 'universe' that we're affecting the outcome for, and it seems like the characters are following their nature as they move though. If you want to get existential, or find the moments between characters as they come together over and over again, sounds like something I'd love to see explored.
But also. Eveything in the 'constructed' world, the one with the cabin, are such archetypes. They don't have names or personalities, they're tropes and titles. The Echo didn't get too detailed and literary with his character creations- do all the personalities, whether they're self aware or not, have feelings about their places in the story? There's so little time to do anything but go to the cabin to Enact the Plot, but does anyone, even any of the voices, ever get to question who they are and what they're doing there? Or are they just their roles in the narrative and playing their parts?
And if something else is more your jam- new cabin encounter? Convos between the gods? POV from the Echo as he keeps trying to guide the Hero? All are welcome!

Shadow of the Leviathan : World building! I love Din and Ana, and the other characters that come through the two books, and if you want to use any of them, or some random character to explore some part of this world, I'd love to see it! The
The Empire that we're getting to see is such an interesting one we see being built by the author. You can see how it's in power- defense against the Kaiju, using the Kaiju as resources, and obviously creating so much industry and processes of dealing with that that supernatural/fantasy threat. Granting special powers to officers to specialize them into jobs. And there's the other half that's so much realistic- politics, corruption, economics, the common people living under the empire getting ground down.
Ana's carved out some strange place for herself. I know one of the mysteries getting revealed in the series is what her deal is, but the space she occupies in the Empire is interesting in an of itself. She clearly sees the corruption in the system and isn't stopped from rooting out the problems, but what's her view on the empire as a whole?Din's obviously wields so much less social and political power, and through his POV we see the things like how debt and pay and social power could affect the more common citizens. And then there are all the bureaucrats, pencil pushers, 'scientists', the magic users keeping the defenses up, all propping up the empire. I'd love to see the world explored, however you want to approach it, whether the Empire itself, people on the outskirts of the Empire looking in, heck, what's up with those Kaiju. The magic system also seems so interesting to explore- how it can be put into people, enhance them, but also wielded separately.

연애 지상주의 구역 | Love For Love's Sake: I adore MyungHa as a character so much. There's so much going on with him 'in the real world' clearly. Life has clearly worn him down and he puts up walls so thick so no one sees his broken core. And he's able to act so well. When he's trying to save YeoWoon and make him happy, MyungHa can put on such an act. But then. that System Error moment. Still not over it. Might not ever get over it.
If you deep dive into MyungHa's pov, I'd love to see your take on him- in the real world, in the 'game', or with YeoWoon.
I'd also love to see more of the worlds. The 'game' world is such a fantasy with how lovely it feels. That MyungHa chooses that world to live in makes all of the sense- does the world stay a fantasy after the events of the series? After ~years~ and the high school period is over, does it end up feeling a little more realistic? On the other hand, what's the 'real 'world' like that Myungha escaped from? Is it just the most depressing parts of our real world?
This series has stayed with me, and I've love to spend a little more time with it.
